We purchased a used travel trailer on Thanksgiving weekend. We had initially contacted the dealership through their website requesting a text response and received an answer after hours the same evening. Not absolutely necessary but a nice surprise. We arranged a viewing with Kyle, and on arrival, every person we encountered was friendly and attentive. We loved the trailer and after a bit of negotiation I believe we received a fair price on our trade and agreement on a couple of items to take care of with the switch to the “new” trailer. We never felt pressured and the experience from viewing through to finalizing the deal was smooth and professional. The only reason for the 4 star vs 5 was the orientation to the purchased trailer on pickup. I want to be really clear that the person who did the orientation was extremely friendly and attentive to every question I had. The problem was that it became clear that the orientation was more geared to travel trailers in general and not to our specific trailer. There were three items in particular that he did not know but would have if this particular trailer had been gone over for orientation before I arrived. I’m guessing it may be because this was a trade they took in, a model they do not carry, and there are some particulars that do not match their in stock new trailers. I would only suggest that for orientation, whoever is tasked for this should be given time to fully understand where everything is on the particular trailer being picked up. In the end I got all the answers I needed and overall the experience was very positive, would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for an RV.

Service is the worst I have never experienced. Several of my service requests were not fixed. In fact as you can see by the water inside my camper it was worst than when I sent it to them. They damaged the interior broke an exterior door. Thier technician said the heated mattress was repaired but it still will not work. How such a major leak could not be detected escapes me. I you buy from here this is what you can expect

Kyle has been super helpful in my journey to acquire my perfect travel trailer and very mindful of my particular constraints. No pressure sales - just good straight up and honest advice and opinions. It is so rare to find these types of individuals in a sales position. Kyle will be absolutely #1 on my speed dial list if and when I'm looking for a new rig in the future. Kyle is also a former RV technician, and speaks with great knowledge on equipment, options, issues, and non-issues.

I need to take this opportunity to say just how thankful I am for the staff at 1000 islands. We have had a few different issues with our fifth wheel (which would make most people frustrated) however, the service department team has been beyond helpful and sympathetic towards our situation. Thank you so much to Thad, Melissa, and Alicia for everything you have helped us with over the last couple months. Everything from helping troubleshoot over the phone, dealing with grand design warranty for us, and such great hospitality and customer service when we arrive at the dealership. All the staff members are so happy, friendly, and polite. Thank you so much 1000 island team! My family truly appreciates your dedication to quality customer service!
