This place, this place is magical! Literally they saved my life 6 years ago , and are still part of my life , saving the day, doing what they do... The Alex and it's different programs offer so much help to a whole spectrum of people , definitely without the recognition that they deserve. I love you guys, "love you long time".
Keep on keeping on, changing lives, restoring self respect, providing people with a sense of security. Until you've experienced what it feels like to be without that , you can't imagine how huge it is to have that restored! And everyone here actually really cares and has their job because they want to help, to make a difference. 5 Stars *

The Alex Community Health Center is an organization that you have to go through the Sorce to get and they help you out with subsidizing rent and help the homeless find housing, they work with you personally up close everyday except Saturday and Sunday, they will drive you to your appointments you have to make with your worker, once assigned to the sorce you'll be assigned a worker and you go from there. They are very friendly and there's lunch and breakfast on Tuesday as well.

Went to the Alex Center today before I went I called I was told to come down and see if social worker when I got there I was told there was no social they're not accepting new clients traveled all the way acrosstown for that I'm homeless but I can't get help from them they're just like every other government funded organization out there they don't help you they just take the money

It the best place for getting support.Here is the awesome people, who actually knows what they do, professionals, soulful they can understand you. If you are feeling alone, you always welcome here. Was told on a Friday to come in on Monday for a check in with a doctor when I came in on Monday I was told to come in on Wednesday ended up going to the hospital because I was not going to wait even longer to be seen by a doctor, they should be more specific about telling patients if they do not have walk-ins I would have booked an appointment on Friday for Monday in that case, I really think that they should be more direct with patience that go there. Because it was just a big waste of my time and I did not appreciate that, would not recommend.

This place doesn't actually give a damn about your health. Was supposed to transfer over from the youth side which is apparently an easy process, except they put me on a wait list that I've now been on for 11 months. When I used the walk in for my med refills, the doctor told me they have no space for me and I shouldn't bother waiting for a call. After I'd been waiting for 10 months!!! I now am completely out of medication that keeps me from wanting to off myself, and they're ignoring both me and my pharmacys requests for refills or just ANY SORT OF CONTACT WHATSOEVER. Screw this place, don't waste your time. They're killing people.

Amazing staff bridges the gap from homelessness to fully housed for Calgarians! One of the umbrella businesses is Pathways to Housing or Home Base which supplies subleases for those needing housing subsidy. Offers medical service like RN lab work in home and counselling by clinical counsellors. Doctor's on staff include psychiatry and MD. Justice workers on front end. Social workers supply supports and work with housing subleases. Highly recommended if you ever are down on your luck!
