Just saw the negative review by the previous poster. I just got back home from that very same store and dealt with the silver haired lady with the glasses and had the opposite experience. She was cordial, took time to consult with me even though they were closing in five minutes. She knew exactly what I was looking for in the gause and bandages and also one of those things you pee in to measure urine output. She was never arrogant or with attitude at any time, just professional and cordial which is all I need. Oh..when chatting with her and discussing compression stockings and how standing on hard surfaces over long periods of time really sucks we both agreed that the floor in the store is concrete with lino covering which is awful for staff to have to stand on all day. What Coop needs to do is install some kind of cork underlay in that floor of their med supplies store. Customers and especially the staff would love it. Am removing one star because the floor sucks as mentioned in previous sentence. Cheers, Brett

Had to pre-order some compression socks. When I wore them the first day I realized they were two different sizes. I took them back to the store and they would not refund me my money. They were really expensive!!!! The staff stated they would have to talk to the supplier. I still have heard nothing from them and do not have a refund. I am an older student who cannot afford another pair because of their mistake. Go somewhere else for your supplies!!!

I'm honestly extremely disappointed in the service. If I could do 0 stars I would. My child was approved for AADL, and they didn't have any samples, let alone products in stock. They asked what size and I said 5T-6T pullup is what she wears and they wanted a S M or L answer. When they finally found something, I was told because I didn't pick them up on the approval date, I was getting less than the approved amount, I loaded the stroller with the boxes of something they found, which was a diaper and not a pullup, only to be told I could get over the amount and pay the difference or get less because they don't split boxes.

Once that was all said and done, I accepted less because I can't afford the cost, they told me their product was twice the allotted amount and I was being charged for the difference. I had to unload the boxes and they said I had to go elsewhere. They said they would provide me a list of the other suppliers with products in that range, and then just ended up saying google it.

Everyone at this location is fabulous - but special shout-out to Daisy who fitted me for my compression socks. As someone under 30 facing varicose veins, I felt a little self conscious coming into the store. But every employee I’ve encountered here is so warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful!

Advised by the pharmacy inside of Co op, I went into the home care store next door, looking for a foot bath for my daughter to soak her feet in epsom salt to help with a post foot injury. The lady (long silver hair with glasses on her nose) sarcastically told be that they do not sell "foot spas" and that they are a home care store. She then tried to sell me a bed pan, or something similar to go to the bathroom in, that looked like a toilet, surely this works for many people who are in need of this support. Ok, that's fine, I can handle a lot, but the way she looked at me and spoke to me was flat out rude and embarrassing. I hope this doesn't happen to people who are in need of more serious care.

Unfortunately the customer service there is terrible, I'm 7 months pregnant with twins and they won't let me pass the door to get in to see the brands and prices they have for compression stockings, so you can't see or get a quote in stockings without handing out the prescription and getting measured for it. They take for granted that you are actually buying from them without even seeing the product. I'm big supporter of Coop supermarkets, gas stations, and health, but with this ridiculous customer service at the Richmond location with this bitter old lady, I won't go back there nor recommend this place at all until their staff is trained to offer a decent customer service with respectful manners and etiquette on top that when you are selling you are willing to do it, not to block people from getting into the store to buy what they need FOR HEALTH PURPOSES. If you go to a health store like that is because you have a condition and because you need medical supplies, not for fun or to browse around.

We just had a great experience at the Richmond store. Manager (Barb) and another employee (did not catch her name) gave us amazing service. Worth the drive from Okotoks. Thanks all!!

Lacklustre. The staff here do not seem to all be operating out of the same playbook. So every time I come here, I have to spend a bunch of time I don't always have walking the staff through the process of filling orders for my aging mother. The explanation of how the process works depends on what clerk I'm dealing with that day.

The clerks seem to be perpetually confused, and even ones I've dealt with multiple times over several months have to ask another clerk how functions on the tills, customer files and inventory control systems actually work. I feel like I spend a lot more time here than I have to.
