I am deeply disappointed with the way Audiology Innovations handled my elderly mother’s situation. My mother, who is 88 years old, has been a patient there for 5-6 years. She has missed two appointments over six months apart. Instead of understanding her circumstances, she received a rude phone call from the receptionist informing her that she was no longer allowed to make appointments, leaving her flustered and in tears. (she had not been treated this way before) This lack of empathy and patience for an elderly person, especially one with hearing difficulties, is completely unacceptable. Mistakes happen, especially for someone of her age, and the dismissive, unprofessional way this was handled shows a lack of care and understanding for long-term patients. I expected Dr. Scarff to have trained her staff better in dealing with the demographic that probably makes up 80% of her clientele. Very disappointed.

I have worn hearing aids for a long time and have had countless hearing evaluations over the years. My experience at Audiology Innovations was exceptional. I have never had such a complete evaluation done. To make it the best experience Linda took so such care in explaining all my results. We talked about my past and contributing causes to my hearing impairment We talked about the different hearing aids that I have used and my frustration with them. I will say what I said to Linda. I stopped going out I avoided situations where more then one person would be talking. Restaurants … forget it I could not hear anything and quite frankly was giving up that it would ever get better
Linda understood and explained what advancements had been made by different companies. She fitted me with hearing aids to try for a couple weeks. I have only had them for 2 1/2 days and I had the best time eating out in a crowded restaurant where I had very very little trouble hearing and more importantly understanding everyone I can not tell you how good this feels and looking forward to being more social Thank you Linda you have no idea how you have changed everything for the better Hearing is so important for physical and mental health and I am grateful for Linda and the Audiology Innovation group. I love the education sharing the understanding of frustration caused by hearing impairment

I chose Audiology Innovations when it was time to replace my old hearing aids. I was searching to for a hearing clinic that truly understands what it’s like to have hearing loss. This is the place! Linda worked with me to understand my needs and recommended the perfect hearing aids. She then fine tuned them so that I could hear better in large meetings or noisy places. I was also really impressed by the speech in noise test - in all my many years of hearing tests, this was a first for me. My new aids are rechargeable, waterproof and very intuitive. I can adjust them for any situation. I love that I can workout and sweat in them and I can wear them paddle boarding worry free. I am so happy with my new hearing aids and am very grateful to Linda for all her help.

I highly recommend Audiology Innovations. Linda Vorster was attentive and helpful in my hearing assessment. She is very capable and has a kind and caring disposition. Her explanation of my hearing loss was informative and her explanations were complete and easy to understand. I was also impressed with Dr Scarff’s zoom presentations through the Kerby Centre which I found very informative. Their compassion and dedication to their work is commendable.

Audiology Innovations has provided exceptional service from the reception to the hearing assessment by Dr. Carrie Scarff to the follow up with Linda and Lindsay. I was so impressed with the thorough and professional care that I also had my mother have a hearing assessment at Audiology Innovations. The educational approach was extremely helpful in understanding the connection between hearing loss and brain health. It was also helpful to know there are team members at Audiology Innovations who have personal experience with hearing loss. I appreciated the caring demonstrated as I made the adjustment to having hearing aids. As well it was appreciated the assistance in dealing with the paperwork to help with getting financial assistance for my mother's hearing aids. I cannot say enough about the service I received.

I just recently got hearing aids and what a difference it has made. Everyone at Audiology Innovations has been kind, considerate, helpful and educational. The testing was an eye opener and the technical advances in hearing aids is incredible. They are so discreet that friends haven’t even noticed my new additions! Audiology Innovations was simply awesome !! I was visiting Calgary from out of Province, and forgot to take my disposable parts for my hearing aids. I stopped in and was given immediate help. I didn’t even know if they carried my brand of aid. They fixed me up for the entirety of my trip, all with a smile and the friendliest of service. Simply could not have been a better experience.

I have been impressed with the empathy expressed, and quality of care given, by my audiologist Linda. I note that some staff also suffer from varying degrees of hearing loss. I have also benefitted from the educational approach taken by Audiology Innovations in its blog postings, online seminars and my discussions with Linda, particularly regarding the link between hearing loss and brain health. My hearing assessment was very thorough, with a follow-up discussion regarding the analysis of the nature and severity of my hearing loss over.a wide range of sound frequencies. At no time did I feel discussions were motivated by sales. I followed Linda’s recommendations and as a result have a noticeable improvement in the quality of my day-to-day life.
