We hired Sam starting a month after the birth of our second child. Sam was fantastic with our baby as well as helping with our busy toddler at the same time. She was very knowledgeable and provided tips on baby care (since our new baby had many challenges that we had not encountered with our first-born). We felt very comfortable with Sam right from the beginning as she showed confidence, and was able to fit in with our family. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone who is looking for postpartum help. She really made life easier for me as a mom, and we very much looked forward to her visits.

Sam was a post partum doula with our family for almost five months. She was so supportive, providing overnight support for about five months. She gave excellent advice regarding infant feeding, researched options for helping switch my baby to a bottle and eventually introduce formula, provided advice about childcare tools, and was excellent company during many late night feeds. She would also often settle our toddler overnight if he woke while she was here, and he came to love her as well. She would help clean bottles and help around the kitchen when she arrived, which was a lovely added bonus! We were so sad when we no longer required her support overnight, she was later able to come and work as our nanny for a week when our usual nanny was away on holidays. Both my kids absolutely loved her. I really struggled mentally after the birth of my first child, and I sincerely believe Sam's help was the difference in my doing much better this time around. I should add she always very infection/COVID safe with our family and had excellent hand hygiene in our home. I can not say enough good things about Sam, and would not hesitate to recommend her to friends and family. In fact, I already have, and they have all said amazing things about her as well! We feel lucky to have had her help and hope we will cross paths with her again in the future.

Sam has been a life saver for our family.

We were having difficulties with our son late one night; he got his first cold! He would not sleep on his back due to congestion and we had to hold him through the night. He was having trouble breathing at times, making us so anxious and the evening was turning into a nightmare. We called Sam for help and she came over very promptly and the night instantly turned around. Not only did she hold the baby all night so we all could get the sleep we needed, she showed us a simpler and effective way of giving him saline drops which helped my wife calm down. She comforted him all night and he ended up getting 11 hours of sleep which, I believe, was a huge factor in him feeling better the next day.

Sam has been great reference for my wife throughout the pregnancy and when we brought our baby home. Ranging from sleep strategies to how to dress the baby, Sam has always been a there to help guide us through a confusing yet exciting time.

Doula support can seem like an extra expensive but it was well worth it for our sanity and teaching us how to care for our newborn. And her product recommendations meant we didn’t waste money products we didn’t need!

We would highly recommend Sam, to any family, looking for excellent Doula services.

We hired Sam as our postpartum doula. She helped us with our baby twins, usually overnight. Her help was excellent! She is very good with babies, even when there is two. She was able to manage nights no problem. She was always professional and when she had extra time took the initiative to help with some clean up around the house (e.g. loading the dishwasher). I had complete peace of mind leaving my babies in her care. If you are looking for a doula, I highly recommend Sam.

Sam was so much help and gave us so much peace of mind that we weren’t doing anything wrong. The 4 month regression hit us hard and I made a decision very early on that I didn’t want to sleep train. Sam didn’t give us a quick fix or suggest something she knew we weren’t comfortable with. We received tips and tricks that worked with the style of parenting we had chosen, not generic tricks that could be looked up on the internet. I appreciate that I was able to text her when had we questions instead of trying to scour through books and and Baby blogs.
