It's always been a great experience interacting with the staff, but this is literally the worst Rona location I've ever seen due to consistent, extremely limited stock. It's going on 8 months, and some items are still not restocked. Do you need some outdoor light fixtures? Well, they have one in stock of one style, 2 in stock of another style, and so on. Just one example. Most homes have 3 minimum. I've ended up having to go to other stores in town for almost everything I've went to purchase at Rona in Cold Lake. This place makes the drive to Lloydminster worth it just so you can get what you need. Being in a smaller, somewhat northern city should not be an excuse either. It should be an opportunity to be the best provider. I've lived a lot further north in a similar sized city in BC, and the Rona there was every bit as good as the larger cities, with obvious adjusted stock. Do better, PLEASE!

Happy to take your money not happy to help afterwards.
Order desk is not helpful and if you can ever find them there they are slow and unhelpful.
We were trying to place an order and asked for help based on pictures on the website
She later said she knew it was wrong “I wondered why you would order that” but failed to say anything while we were standing at the desk asking for help!
Then when it came in to the store looking different then website pictures now They will not return it
We are now stuck with hundreds of dollars of product that can’t be used.
Very unreasonable and extremely poor customer service
Go somewhere else.

I brought a broken part in a ziploc bag; upon arrival, an employee enthusiastically greeted me and wanted to know how she could help. I lifted up the ziploc and before I could even begin, she exclaimed that she knew what it was and zipped off to grab one for me. She even offered some useful advice. In under five minutes my errand was complete, thanks to the intense knowledge & assistance of this worker. Plus, whenever I need soil/etc, someone tries to be available to load my car. I feel very dignified here, they make my life easier.

They never have anything! Basic things they never have. Should be called “we don’t have it” store. Wonder how much money they are losing by turning away contractors cause they never have anything. Not even black paint ffs

The staff are always friendly and helpful. Shelly is amazing!! She has built a number of animal shelters for us, and the quality of her work is awesome! Would highly recommend her for any of your pets needs in terms of shelters!

Jen in the paint and supplies section is INCREDIBLE!! She really knows her stuff. Is professional, personable and funny to boot. I left my name and number for when the paint I’m using went on sale and she called me today a month later to let me know!

If you google Rona and dogs, they say they're dog friendly nationally. There's a sign on their door that says no pets. If you're looking to shop with your pooch just go to Canadian Tire, the prices are lower anyway and you won't see pictures of sheep on the windows depicting people who want to wear a mask on public.
