Big shout out to Decema and the pharmacy staff for going the extra mile to help me with my medication delay. You rock!
I want to thank Rodger and the entire pharmacy team for going above and beyond for me this morning. I was in need of some medication to be delivered as quickly as possible. Rodger and the team were very accommodating to my request, going out of the way to make my request happen. I have been a customer since I first moved to Bancroft 23 years ago and have always had amazing service! I am extremely grateful for the extra effort today. We are very fortunate to have such a great business in our town!

I've been a regular at this pharmacy for quite some time now, and there's so much to appreciate about the place. First and foremost, the dedication and professionalism of the two high school students, Mason and Jocelyn. Their commitment to providing top-notch service, coupled with their genuine care for customers, is truly commendable. They go above and beyond to ensure everyone's needs are met with a smile.

However, amidst this exceptional service, there's been a noticeable contrast in the performance of one of the new hires, Sheila. Unfortunately, interactions with Sheila have been lackluster, lacking the same enthusiasm and attentiveness found in her colleagues. It's a shame because the overall service excellence of the pharmacy is somewhat diluted by this contrast.

On the brighter side, the pharmacy itself is well-organized, stocked with a wide range of products, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The efficiency and kindness of Mason and Jocelyn largely overshadow any minor shortcomings made by Sheila. Their work ethic truly sets a high standard for customer service.

In response to I.d.a comment on my initial review...I do have the correct store.
Yes you offer free delivery to me in Coe Hill, only on a Tuesday.
I.d.a. did deliver some medications to me that day. However the MEDICATION I NEEDED WAS NOT IN THE BAG. I CALLED AND TOLD THEEM, MY NEEDED MEDICATION WAS NOT IN THE BAG.
THEYTOL ME THEY WOULD DELIVER MY MEDICATION RIGHT AWAY.
I WAITED, NO DELIVERY CAME.
AFTER 2 HOURS, I CALLED BACK, AND WAS TOLD NO THEY WOULD NOT DELIVER IT TODAY. THAT THEY ONLY DELIVER ONE TIME ON A TUESDAY AND SO THEY WOULD NOT DELIVER MY NEEDED MEDICATION.
I HAD TO HIRE A TAXI TO PICK UP MY NEEDED MEDICATION FROM I.D.A, I HAD TO PAY $100. To Backwoods taxi to deliver my NEEDED medication !!

I'm genuinely shocked by these negative reviews. My experience is that this has always been the best pharmacy in the Bancroft and Maynooth area. Everyone is lovely. We have lived here for two years, since 2022. Some of the negative reviews don't seem very fair, someone said they were mad a staff member didn't go across the street to give them their meds. Not sure why that's an expectation, geez. Others outraged at seemingly minor negative behaviour from staff. Yea sometimes people have bad days, we are all human. And then even a review where someone wasn't even ever a customer, they just rated one star because they saw other one star reviews?! I'm sorry but that's really messed up and makes no sense at all. If you didn't have an experience with them, why on earth would you leave a negative review? Especially for a small town business where a negative review does much more damage than it does to the Walmarts and the Costcos of the world. That person should be ashamed of themselves.

My physician contacted them.it was due for refill today.to Co ordinate with theirBancroft ida delivery date of Tuesday, ONLY
HE AUTHORIZED REFILL FOR 1 DAY AMOUNT OF MEDICINE

Prescriptions I need to live through night were Not in bag. Not refilled not given to delivery person
I did not receive them even though I paid the delivery Minecraft. Ida could not take the time to ensure that my prescriptions were filled. Properly filled correctly given to deriver without incident, but none of that occurred. Find yourself a pharmacy that takes the time and do diligence to do things correctly which is not bancroft Ida.

For those that don't think that reviews are important me and my family just moved into the area around Christmas of 2020 and needed to find a new local pharmacist to take care of our prescriptions since my wife and I both need a lot of prescriptions and after looking through the reviews for the three drug stores in Bancroft we definitely won't be doing business at the Bancroft IDA Drug Mart . Thanks to everyone that takes the time to review companies and the way that they treat customers!

As an addendum to the above review that I posted in December of 2020 I'd like to say that I got a reply from the owner of this IDA about four hours ago complaining to me about my review and then noticed approximately twenty new reviews that were all posted about three hours ago and that were all five star glowing reviews.

Stay away from this place if you're looking for an honest pharmacist!

I live across the street from IDA. I recently threw my lower back out and is extremly painfull just to walk in the apartment. I called and asked if someone would be kind enough to run my blister pack over to me,across the street. Even though its a Saturday morning. I was told no. Can't spare anyone. Across the street. Would have taken less time than writing this out. Im blown away. Somehow I'll have to get down rhe stairs and there. Thanks IDA

IDA was the only place that helped me get the wound care desperately needed for my son who burned his hands. The pharmacist found me the burn cream needed and helped me choose the right bandaging products. The other drug store just shrugged and said they could not help me. I found the staff so patient, kind and helpful. I will be going to the Bancroft IDA now for all my pharmaceutical needs!
