David came to my clients house. He had to squeeze through this small door that wouldn’t open due to the ice build up. And work without standing up. A challenge for sure. Super friendly. Had the heat back on in 20 minutes. Thank you very much .

Whitfield has installed a generator at our cottage. We have been beyond happy with their service. The pricing was very competitive and fair. As far as I'm concerned, however, the installers made the difference as they were excellent. The electrician in particular was above and beyond with respect to the care and level of service he provided.

Whitfields has been called for three of our projects over the last 8 years. Starting with a propane fireplace in our cottage, then an overhead shop propane heater for our separate garage, and yesterday a heat/ac pump with a single inside unit (which is working so well in the cold temperatures). Every project was done on time, and the workers had always a professional attitude and did great work. Vaughn at their office was very helpful picking the right units and always had a follow up call to make sure we were happy with the work. We trust Whitfields for doing a great job and would recommend them highly to others!

The experience started very well. Vaughan and Kevin seemed eager to help. When they asked me to sign a very one sided contract alarm bells went off. I checked their google reviews and asked some questions. I was also trying to work within the confines of the Canada Greener Homes grant which I will admit complicates things. They did however say they had experience working with the grant so I was surprised when they offered me a package that would not have qualified. The contract had a clause that said they didn't guarantee the system would qualify... More bells... The contract also had me doing my own electrical and disposing of my own oil tank. Fine for me but what does grandma do when she needs a new furnace? Or should I ask how much she pays? Total cost of this installation was around $20,000.00 and didn't include electrical, oil tank removal, or a cap on the old chimney..

They got somewhat heated when I asked about the google review that said they refused to cap the chimney and said for safety reasons they needed a tie off point on my roof, that it was going to cost hundreds extra to cap my chimney.

After months of thinking I was going to get my new furnace from them they cancelled on me at the last minute leaving me in a crunch to find a new supplier. Not very kind or professional.

I've since selected a new supplier. After 4 quotations no other suppliers have presented such a contract. Additionally, all 4 have selected heating systems for my home with a much higher capacity. Turns out the system would have been undersized. Definitely dodged a bullet here.

Be careful what you sign.

I recently installed a propane heating system using this company. The entire experience was honest and supportive. The team that did the work were excellent, kind and professional; exhibiting high levels of integrity and skill in their field. I especially appreciate the fair problem solving that occurred when unexpected issues arose. Highly recommended.

This company came to our rescue when the company we had originally booked backed out due to a scheduling issue. Hydro was booked for a certain day to urn off power so Generator could be hooked up. Brian and Ryan were friendly, polite, professional and workmanship was top notched. They suggested a better option to connect the line for the generator as they wanted it to look nice which it certainly does compared to previous option given by another company. They also serviced furnace and air conditioner. They will be our company that will turn to now. Great work.

Had many companies try to fix my Geo Thermo furnace, Whitfield’s was the only one who came through and actually repaired it. Great tech and reasonable rates.

Our furnace pilot light went out on one of the coldest nights of the year and we worried quick service would be a problem since I’m sure many people have furnace issues when it gets cold. My wife called and they had a suggestion we could try first and potentially save ourselves a couple hundred dollars by checking it out ourself. It was a simple fix. Who does that? These guys do! Total pros. They could have very easily taken our money. I hope I don’t need to call them in the future with real furnace issues but I wouldn’t think twice about it.
