Try to get through by phone, I dare you. After waiting on hold for over an hour, they automatically hung up on me because the clock said 11am. My pharmacy faxed an urgent request and got no reply. My Dad's doctor was supposed to have written prescriptions to cover him for the period that I am out of country, but that never happened. He is 93 and I am the only way to get him to the clinic, but that is impossible while I am away.
Sorry but this is a repeat occurrence, and I am getting more frustrated each time. They need to get the coordination between doctors and the front office fixed.

I love my doc here at Mud Creek BUT the phone lines are only open during weird times. Very abnormal. What if u really need to contact the clinic? The phone line open times are really screwed up and are NOT designed to help patients at all!!!! They are cleary made the way they are for other reasons that are NOT at all for helping patients receive good health care at all. Im sorry but its the truth.

I went to Shopper’s drug mart for a renewal on a diabetes prescription as I didn’t have resources or time to book at clinic in New Minas. The LPN at the care centre at Shoppers sent me for blood work and I said yes when she asked if I wanted results forwarded to my doctor. (Dr. Patrick Murphy).

The day I had tests done I received a call from receptionist (? Nurse?) who immediately started yelling at me about why I was going to another doctor, why I hadn’t been in in over a year, why I was having results sent there. I literally couldn’t get a word in. I was in my car with my daughter and she heard the entire diatribe. When I firmly said to be quiet and stop yelling at me I explained that I needed the refill, could not afford to go all the way in to New Minas and miss time from work when I live and work in Greenwood and Shopper’s is five minutes away. I explained it was the new program at the drug stores and she was completely unaware. She said rudely I can drop Dr. Murphy as a doctor if I wanted, which I did. She was completely out of line, never even said hi, just called me and started yelling.

I’ve had some poor treatment over the years at the hands of healthcare workers but this was by far the worst. Not Dr. Murphy’s fault, but combined with how far it is, her unprofessional behaviour and the fact I had no desire to ever deal with her again, I went back on the list after nine years of being without a doctor. Shameful behaviour!

Doctor Segato is a very nice guy. The receptionists are friendly as well. However, I think sometimes they are stressed and mabey come off a little rude to some people. Overall a good experience.

(4 STARS ARE FOR DOCTOR SEGATO AND HIS AMAZING RECEPTIONISTS) I have been going to this clinic for the past 10+ years, My first Doctor (Doran) WAS AMAZING, Second Doctor I got the feeling she wanted to write my prescriptions and get me back out AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.. My THIRD Doctor (Segato) and he is an AMAZING DOCTOR and has INCREDIBLE beside manners, He really makes you feel like he actually CARES by remembering things you told him about yourself and your hobbies! I guess that's why they say "Third Time's A Charm".. Best doctor I have ever had so far in my life, no contest.

I see my family doctor here and she's great!!! Sometimes Wait times can be long but I don't mind because that means shes not rushing patients out instead shes taking the time to sit with and talk to patients about what's going on. There are 4 doctors who practice here. Sadly it is no longer a walk in clinic

I called this morning to make my first ever appointment with Dr Salazar. Sad to say it was probably the rudest reception call I have ever experienced. Might have been a bad day, but zero courtesy and cutting off the call at the end is not justified in any way.

Awesome Dr. Mossman is the best! We are so lucky to have her as our Doctor. Especially these days.
