Update: I unfortunately didn't see Robin's response until recently. Thank you Robin for promptly reaching out. I have bumped my rating up from my original 1 star rating since they were willing to address the issue. Will be willing to give them another try one day to see if the front desk service can provide an enjoyable experience.

10$ handling fee for any purchase under $150 before tax! price quoted was around $158 on part so no worries and I even said I would just add something to push over the 150 amount as needed. And yet on invoice total was roughly $75 cents under 150$ before tax and so I got charged the 10$ fee. Didn't notice till later in the day reviewing invoice. Very poor practice, I could have added anything else I needed to bump up the dollar. Lady at counter should be ashamed of herself. Also lady serving me at desk claims that by time head office prints invoice they get charged 75$ so they need to charge the 10$ fee. Pardon? None the less none of my of
contractors or property managers will be allowed to use Marks supply going forward.

On my first visit to this store in Brantford, and when I bought garden water tap, I told the customer service that I might need to change it as I wasn't sure of the length, she kept quiet.
After, I paid and left I found they charged what's called handling fee!!! I came the next day returned everything I bought from this store and they deducted the handling fee plus 20% " restocking fee"!!!

Called in yesterday inquiring about a part for a fireplace. They told me they would get back to me later that day and never did. I called in today about the same part. They hadn't took a record down of the part I inquired about. I called back with more information about the part and when the secretary answered she asked who I was. I told them I don't have an account there I'm new in the industry. Then without even hesitating she said we only deal with contractors began to hang up. I am a TSSA licensed contractor. Once asked her about opening an account she said "it's a whole process" got kind of rude and hung up.

As a contractor i’m Totally appalled at the costumer service at this store, I went to pick up a few parts they charged a $10 handling fee that they didn’t charge when I was there earlier in the day. I’m shocked by how terrible the customer service is compared to the Kitchener location. If you want good service go to Kitchener, they treat their customer with the respect that Brantford does not.
