Big shout out to Season's in Brantford for helping my Dad during the Covid-19 shutdown. So thankful they made the call early to have the residents stay in their rooms to help stop the spread of Covid-19. Not being able to visit to help Dad is difficult but Season's in Brantford have always been there to jump in when needed, helping bring a bit of happiness to my Dad who is turning 98 this year. A big thanks to the staff of Seasons, specifically the staff at Seasons in Brantford.

My Dad spent a couple of years there. Overall the staff on the floor was great. They helped my dad a lot. Tracey & Rebecca were a godsend. Like all places they need more hands on staff. Constant turn over with management staff. It is quite expensive, the more care you require the more you pay. You will start around 3.5K monthly for the BASICS. Then quickly go up from there. 5K per month is not unrealistic. Be prepared. When you require more care then they are willing to provide, your out. There are assisted living facilities that provide greater care needs, this is not one of them. Season's isn't a bad place, on the contrary it is better then most. it's a systemic system failure to adequately provide care for the people who need it the most. Believe me there are worse places. Covid requirements pretty much was the start of my Dad's quick decline. When my Dad was there during this time it was many months before I was able to see him. This also contributed to his quick decline. Locked in your room with little exercise and little stimulation of the mind and I'm sure we all would go down quick. I am a little bitter. The system as a whole is a joke. Profit for care. What devious mind thought that up. You learn quickly money is the primary goal, care is secondary, no matter what facility you choose. Honestly you will find it just gets worse from here. When your loved one is ready for Transitional or LTC that's when you really get an eye opener. The system from start to finish is a disgrace. Why did we let this happen?

Gorgeous place with lots of services and activities. Shuttle service provided.
Expensive yes, but you get what you pay for. My mother has been in another retirement home that is very similar but nursing service , doctor visits per month and free phone and unlimited calling anywhere in the world was not included.

Went to see the singer perform,( a friend) , Wonderful Christmas carols...everyone loved it. Singing along having Fun! (should point out its not a public venue. )

My mom is living there right now. It's a clean, pleasant place but it is extremely expensive and impossible to get a hold of anyone in charge. Have called numerous times, left messages and no one has called back. I'm currently looking for another place for mom.
