The scale is massively off as of Feb 2025 so recommend to go elsewhere. We went in to drop off 1 computer desk (maybe 40 pounds max) and were calculated at dropping 90 kg (over 200 pounds). When we went back to have them fix it, the guy told us nothing he can do but log a complaint with this city (we let them know). While we were talking to the guy with our car on the scale, it went from 2290 to 2220 and we did absolutely nothing. Definitely recommend going elsewhere if you are going to have to pay as that would be $$ out of your own pocket for nothing!

Much better than previous years. This is a well organized operation now with friendly staff to guide you through the different areas. It seems like your vehicle is weighed on the way into the main dump, and then again on the way out. Looks like this determines the price you pay. Interac accepted. Set up for COVID safety. Cost me $20 to dump a car load of stuff. Recycling is free.

Been here at least 4 times during various renovations, etc, and the staff are great. Very friendly and helpful, with sense of humour. Went today with about a thousand pounds of stuff and in the core part of the dump area, the gentleman was helping us and others unload there loads.... I tried to give him $10 as a thank you for helping with the unload, but he refused. Great place and people

The dump has been updated differently and it's works better they have separated the a place to dump your compost metal and dangerous materials oils paint ect. The only one thing I would like to see is that they have two lineups to get into the dump one for the composting and also dangerous materials and one for the major dump because we're waiting in line for nothing to go to the compost .

Does anyone know if I can bring old furniture (i.e. chairs, desk) and miscellaneous items such as infant car seat to this site?

We are a resident of clarence creek, we were denied multiple times to dump here for personal stuff we needed to dispose.
Gilles and Pierre are both very rude.

Hope the city does something about them.
