Although Dr. Lobo takes good care of her patients, I find the way they conduct business to be difficult. They only answer phone calls within short timeframes and their phone system doesn’t allow you to leave voicemails after hours. They also do not accept any communication via email, which can make it hard to book appointments. However, I do like how they strive to carry out their appointments on time by having everything scheduled in advance. Sometimes though, your health changes from the time the appointment is booked, and becomes an issue because the booking will only give you time to discuss the concerns you had before. I would recommend hiring a staff member specifically to answer phones and emails to help avoid this.

We've been patients of Dr. Lobo for about 6 months and she and her administrator Charlene are fantastic. I'm shocked to see any negative comments here about Charlene as she's an incredibly diligent and empathetic person! She always returns calls and is super understanding of the major challenges in Ontario's health care system. Dr. Lobo is very smart and thorough. I lived in the US for 14 years and am used to really good healthcare, and am very happy with Dr. Lobo.

Extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist Charlene. I had heard many negative comments about this receptionist but thought I would try in any case as I needed a family physician. . What a mistake! She constantly messed up appointment dates several times. I booked time off work on appointment dates only to arrive and find the office closed. Even when I showed her the appointment cards she insisted that she had called me on the phone with the correct date. She yelled at me on the phone and told me I was lucky that she even returned my call as it was in the evening. I certainly hadn’t requested an evening call. She refused to let me speak to Dr Lobo about my concerns and she then called 2 other patients to discuss me! She continued her rant and told me that there is a zero tolerance for abuse however I was calm and simply requested to address my concerns with the doctor. Clients shouldn’t have to tolerate abuse from this receptionist. I left Dr Lobo and would rather go on a waitlist than deal with more crazy! I suggest anyone steer clear! It’s no wonder they are always accepting new patients on their waitlist!

I have seen several negative comments on here, but there are several doctors within in this medical centre. I do wish you could rate the individual doctors.

I have been with Dr. Laskey for about 15 years now and she is just amazing. I feel like I am going to see my vary compassionate friend who happens to be a doctor as well. I am very thankful to have her as a doctor. I now live an hour away, but I would drive longer than that to have her as my doctor and advocate. Every specialist she has sent me to has also been equally amazing, it's like she's connected with all the other good ones out there 🙂

Dr. Jennifer Laskey is an amazing Doctor Who listens to your issues and try to help you as much as possible. She is so kind and caring and would do anything for her patients including calling them from home. However I am regretful to say to her receptionist Nothing but rude and does not pass information to Jennifer Lasky. I have had issues where the receptionists refused to let me have an appointment even when the issue was extremely important due to mental health. Also information has gone missing such as my children’s immunization ! if I did not go back to the doctor they would’ve ended up getting the shots twice because receptionists did not put the information into the computer however I have to say even though the receptionists is lacking bedside manner and compassion I will still go to Dr. Lasky because she’s a good doctor I recommend her to anyone. I do however think it’s time to find a new receptionist

Just walked in. Asked for information because I was sent there from the hospital, I’ve had a terribly long day because the family doctor situation in Canada. I was handed a needle and told to find a place to administer it. I was not explained anything
I walk into the clinic and proceed to be ignored by the receptionist for 10 minutes until an older gentleman walked in and then she said hi to him, finally addressing me.
I asked for information and she stated over and over again she had no clue and gave me attitude.
Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but this is so unhelpful from a doctors office, especially when I saw briefly all these phamplets explaining how to help in healthcare?
So you advertise that you’re willing to help out and then don’t, give attitude and don’t offer any information. If you work in healthcare you should at least know local hospitals or clinics that are available to aid the general public, considering you are a private doctor.

To the short haired brunette lady who works on the far left of the office, that isn’t how you speak to someone, even if they are only half your age. we all hate our jobs, doesn’t mean you can be a douchebag.
