I recently was seen by Dr. Sharma for skin problems. The staff were very professional & kind & well informed to instruct me on treatment. Dr. Sharma is also very professional & informative. I did not feel rushed. I had a biopsy & received a call from Dr. Sharma with results in a prompt time period. Her reassurance & concern were so appreciative. I am pleased to continue with my follow ups in the future. Thanks to all.

I just came back from a dermatological appointment with Dr. Sharma and wanted to comment on my experience at this clinic. To start, my appt was scheduled for 2:40pm - I had waited 35 minutes in an almost empty waiting room. I asked the receptionist politely how long the wait might be and I noticed that she was short and curt with me each time she spoke. Hmmm. Not off to a good start. Shortly after, the doctor's assistant pulled me into an exam room to ask me questions and all the while, took notes on my medical issues yet when the doctor finally showed up, Dr. Sharma hadn't read any of the notes made, requiring me to repeat everything a second time. It was now nearing 4 o'clock and I could feel the doctor was doing the exam hastily (maybe wanting to go home?) not thinking for a minute that I had waited for this appointment for 2 months and juggled my work schedule around it TWICE after they asked me to change my original appt, only to have a very rushed, 5-min exam with a doctor who in the end, barely gave me time of day and wasn't even a licensed dermatologist as I had thought!

At the end of the appt, the receptionist handed me two forms with little direction on what I was to do with them. Blood work request and what appeared to be medicine instructions. So I go to a nearby pharmacy to get the prescription filled but the pharmacist informs me that what I was holding wasn't a prescription. Here I go, back to IMCare to ask the receptionist if I could get my prescription - she snottily replied that it had been faxed to "my pharmacy". I didn't have a dedicated pharmacy so I asked her where it could possibly have been sent to. After looking, the staff determined that my file didn't list a preferred pharmacy (as no one had ever asked me for this -duh!!) and so, the prescription hadn't been sent anywhere in actuality. No apology for giving me the runaround, zero empathy about my loss of time and the lack of cordiality throughout the entire encounter was the cherry on the cake. Save yourself the headache and find another clinic!!!
