In response to the (1) star complainers. I have been a Patient of Dr Quigg for many years. There is no doubt, I say again, no doubt in my mind, that Dr Quigg is an exceptional Physician. Someone who listens to his patient's needs and concerns and acts appropriately. Never has there been a concern with his plan of care for myself and my family. Unfortunately, we live in a world now where patients spend an hour online researching with Dr. Google before heading to the physician's office. The expectation being Dr. Google is always right. Well, if you want to trust your care to a Dr. Google. Go ahead it will leave more appointment space for the responsible people in this world.

Fantastic doctor. Very caring. very helpful. I don't know what motivated the one star review but remember there are some people on the web who are just negative. I have had hundreds of people say the best things about this doctor. People with good things to say do not need to vent on the web and you likely should seriously discount the opinion of one person who seems a bit too vindictive.

My issue with dr Quiggs office isn’t with the doctor but rather the receptionist… I get a new job and am told i may need accommodations to be put in place because of an underlying health condition, I tell the receptionist the situation, tell her it’s for a new job. And I need it within 2 days. Today I find out from my place of work they don’t have the paperwork needed. I try and get through to the office, the lines busy, I try again 5 or ten minutes later. Still busy, okay no problem they just opened. 10:45 rolls around I give the office another call it rings through and I can’t leave a message. I get home, explain to a family member who was excited I got the job about what’s happening. My family member calls at 11:30 and gets through, is told I’ll get the documentation by the end of the day. I call from my personal phone again to confirm as well as apologize for the hassle and rush and frustration, as well as to confirm the paper work needs to be faxed to the number I included in the original email. And I ring through. This is within 20 minutes of my family member calling, the line wasn’t busy, there were people in the office they weren’t on lunch, and once again, I can’t leave a message…. I am and will continue to be very dissatisfied not with the diagnosis Dr Quigg gives me, but rather the customer service provided by his associates is sub par at best, there is plenty of room for improvement and patient satisfaction before you even walk through the door. This is something I really think should be worked on and fast.

I so disagree with the 1 star review I had to chime in - if you go to Ratemds you'll see the type of review Dr Quigg gets - he's ranked 2nd highest in Collingwood for good reason - he's compassionate and engaged - yes he'll print off info and give you more resources than normal but that's just it, he gives more than expected and helps you to take responsibility for your health. He is the type of person who will do a follow up phone call and check in with you as he walks back and forth to work - he works long hours both in his practice and in the hospital - while he can be quick to prescribe and does take a very allopathic approach to medicine, you can question/push back and he'll take the time to discuss pros and cons with you and address concerns and at the end of the day, it's up to you whether you chose to take meds or not. A fine doctor and man who has helped so many in this community - he's been my physician for 14 years and I feel fortunate to have him.
