Really nice office! The receptionist is 100% competent (which is such a rare find in a doctor's office these days) and Dr Bhatia is such a gentle man! He's actually concerned with finding the route cause of an issue rather than just medicating the symptoms. So happy I've found this office! Have turned down other offices that are located closer to me that I was on a waitlist for in favor of staying on here.

Expect to wait over 2 hours even with an appointment. But Dr Johnston is thorough and genuinely cares about his patients. I think there just needs to be another doctor hired to service the area so that wait times are not as lengthy.

Fast forward one year later. No change in this clinic's wait times. Still never answer the phone. I've been calling for a whole week to book an appointment but no one picks up. Just left work early and came as walk in. Let's see how long this takes. *smh*

The doctor may be attentive, compassionate and thorough, though I wouldn't actually know this firsthand, since this is the second time I have attempted to be seen. On the first occasion, about a year ago, the receptionist could not tell me what time he would be in. I waited until it was determined that he would not be in, approximately an hour later. I had moved here and my long time previous physician practices in Toronto, so I was attempting to get someone closer to Cambridge.

Today, I took the day off and arrived at 10:30 AM and registered with the receptionist. She then told me that he was completely booked for scheduled appointments, but would be available between 4 PM and 8 PM for walk-ins. She told me to "come back around 5 o'clock." Given that walk-ins begin at 4 PM, I opted to go back around 3:45 PM and noted around 5 people in the waiting room. I told this other receptionist that I had registered in the morning and would like to see the doctor. She then told me that "the doctor would like to leave at 5 o'clock." She also indicated that he had arrived late as well, 12 noon when the clinic opens at 11 AM. Given the number of patients waiting, I would not be seen.

I had provided 2 phone numbers in the morning, but no one called to advise his change in plans. They may be looking for new patients, but the doctor is undisciplined in adhering to the hours he has set. I was well prepared and had brought my medical history and concerns. Needless to say, I won't return.

Great doctor and staff are exceptionally friendly, but they fail to manage expectations regarding wait times. I would rather they tell me I have a 3 hour wait than tell me the doctor will see me in a few minutes, then wait 3 hours. But other than that, this is now my regular doctor and no other complaints.

I seriously doubt the other reviews which claim Dr. Johnson is rude or rushed. And as for the claim complaining the doctor dresses like he just finished yard work... who cares? He is a caring, skilled doctor.
