Years ago this office was amazing, I’m not sure what’s happened with our healthcare but this office has gone downhill. The one receptionist is so rude, over the phone and in person! I was marked as a no show and waited 45 mins to see the dr even though I checked in with the receptionist. My Dr is always rushing me, always tells me “we’re not talking about that today” even though I wait WEEKS to get an appt with him! There’s absolutely no compassion with this clinic! I was told if I went to a walk in clinic I would be flagged. Whatever that means! Sounds like bullying and intimidation to me! Why is it so hard to get a decent caring Dr?!

This has been my primary care facility for approximately 1.5 years.

1. Renewing a prescription requires an in-person visit, which is inconvenient for patients with busy schedules or mobility issues. The extra fees for refills without an appointment, combined with difficulty securing appointments promptly, can put patients at risk of running out of essential medications. Long wait times to see a doctor and the need to book well in advance can also delay access to timely care, increasing the chances of medication interruptions. Additionally, by no longer allowing pharmacies to handle refill requests directly, the process becomes more complicated and places extra responsibility on patients. This makes it harder for them to navigate the clinic’s system and keep up with renewing their prescriptions.

2. The receptionist advised me to find a doctor closer to my area, which felt dismissive and not centered around patient care.

3. Calling the main line often results in having to leave a voicemail, making it uncertain when you'll receive a response.

I hope they can streamline these processes for a better patient experience.

When I was a teenager, I had a wonderful family doctor. When that doctor retired, I thought I might not find a doctor that I like, as so many people have a hard time finding good doctors.

I have been a patient of Dr. Andrew Smith since the pandemic. Both of my teenagers are also his patients. Dr. Smith goes above and beyond to listen to his patients, and come up with solutions that work for everyone. I cannot say enough kind things about him.

Dr Smith is incredible. Very attentive, quick, takes my family's concern seriously, and is happy to help us. Fantastic experience overall.

Staff are great. Always quick to return calls etc.

My elderly father is lucky to have Dr Andrew Smith as his family doctor. He is an amazing doctor with excellent knowledge and an awesome bedside manner. He is able to diagnose and give life-saving timely treatment and he explains everything in detail very well. The staff at Healthlink are also awesome. They are always quick to respond to any queries or requests in a kind and professional manner.

The receptionist is the most ignorant, rudest woman I have ever encountered. In person and over the phone - she is unbelievably rude. I’m trying to deal with my sick four year old and trying to return the doctors phone call, while she continues to tell me she has no idea who called me because nobody is there (clearly lying since he called me from there) - when I call back to say he left the message - she tells me I’ll need to be patient, she’s busy and has a million other things to do. I said, well I don’t really care because I have a sick four year old and the doctor asked me to call him back. She hangs up the phone. I call back and say I simply need to confirm that you have left a message for the doctor — again she ignorantly raises her voice and hangs up the phone after telling me she doesn’t care what I have to say. This place is disgusting. As a receptionist, you’re in admin/customer service — you do not get to speak to people this way or hang up the phone on me while I’m concerned for and calling regarding my four year olds health. I will be reporting this office and woman (not that she will be properly reprimanded anyhow). This woman was ignorant from the time I brought my daughter in last night. Everyone is fighting a battle you don’t know about ma’am and kindness is free. Hopefully you don’t deal with every person you meet so disgustingly. Shame on you.

Dr. Hassan is the least empathetic human being, let alone doctor, I have ever come across in my life. When trying to explain a traumatic loss she has the audacity to basically tell you to just get over it with the least amount of care or concern. Don’t know how she is employed or if she just chooses to treat certain patients this way. I don’t know how anyone could feel comfortable talking to her about anything health related when she has this attitude of ‘I don’t believe you’ with everything you say. I had to specifically ask that my whole family not be seen by her anymore.

Dr. Smith is amazing. I have meant to write this for quite sometime. He cares for myself, wife and daughter. He is genuinely caring and I can't say enough of how much he takes the time to resolve the issue. Highly recommended Doctor. Also, Dr. Morgan helped with the birth of our daughter. Another great Doctor!
