Value is no longer good. Customer service is lousy and the prices are very high. This place used to be good but now there are better places and at better prices. I used to spend alot of money here and the prices were great it was incredible but now it just fell apart just like there website. To bad L&M you were once the best but not anymore.

Decent products, solid price, and you should support local.

However it SUPER annoying that you can no longer use their website to order products and have them delivered. Add the cost of travelling their store, it’s no longer as good of value compared to other local butchers in the Barrie area.

I was driving from work and saw a new billboard along 89. Across from Walmart in Alliston. I called them and asked are they like a butcher? They are and more. I decided to drive directly to them and I was where are they? But Google maps took me straight to them. It's a country setting what you would expect form a fresh meat farm. I even saw they have new technologies and impressed with the lay out. I ended up picking up 4 steaks. And this is where I have to say. It was the best quality, cut, marbling and taste I have ever had in my life. I didn't know how good something could be. I highly recommend you check out this place. It's worth the drive. And I also found out they have a place in Beeton as well. I can't wait to make this place a part of my weekly shopping. Congratulations folks on a business.

I have been coming here for about a year now and I liked it. In-store customers service is great while over the phone isn’t top but it’s not bad. I think they want you to make orders over the phone but prioritize walk in more. It could be a business strategy as a walk-in is cash at hand while on-call orders could cancel last minute. But that aside, top quality meat and timely appointment pick-up for clients. Although I drive over 40km to get there but I still like their services.

As for increase in price as a reviewer mentioned, I started coming here when the prices have changed and it’s gone a fraction higher since I have been coming but all the same I still prefer their services. That’s my opinion anyway!!

They saved my bacon! Pun intended 🙂 We needed a large prime rib for husband's birthday dinner and they were able to provide it in less than 24 hours despite it being a long weekend. Such great service and we were so thankful - absolutely love this place!

I was referred to L&M meats this past summer after my friend cooked a couple steaks for my wife and me on my birthday and I asked where the heck did you get these ? He then told us about L&M and we had to go for ourselves this past weekend.
Not sure how or why there are any negative reviews here on this site ?
In my experience to L&M meats, I found the place to be awesome and the staff are extremely knowledgable about the products they sell and prepare and they were ALL “unbelievably friendly” !!! The Steaks were out of this world fabulous again Saturday night !!! can’t wait to try one of the prime rib roasts we purchased this coming weekend. Outstanding products, pricing and staff !!! And definitely worth the drive from the city.

I drive by this place twice daily and the rotting smell is horriable. After hearing about this place being charged a few years back do to horrific conditions of the animals I will NEVER buy anything from this place. Like I said the smell is awful. I feel sorry for the home owners close by especially on a windy day. This comment is fact not fiction.
