A friend referred me to try Orthopaedic Sports Institute after a herniated disc injury in my lower back. I was met by very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I had the pleasure of working with Manuel as he assisted me in getting out of pain using a combination of massage and acupuncture physiotherapy. I also worked with Alta and she helped me form a routine of stretches (that I continue to do to this day) and proper form/posture to build back up strength and mobility and get me back to my normal active lifestyle. Danielle at the front desk always reminded me of upcoming appointments and paperwork needed to communicate with wsib. The whole team there is very professional and helped make an otherwise stressful recovery easy and comfortable.

I made an appointment to see Dr. James McCrimmon to see about a custom orthotic with a lift being made. I was born with a clubfoot foot and after maturing thought I had a leg longer than the other. He went to do an examination and noticed my hips being contorted which led to the leg length discrepancy. After an adjustment I was able to see the difference in my hips and legs immediately, to my surprise. After a week of lifting my kid with no back pain I am sold. Great experience, that I never knew I needed!

They treated my son without my consent. Gave him unnecessary orthotics as per paediatrician. Nor would they disclose any information in regards to MY son. Staff was super rude. Gross.

***In response to owner. THREE times I tried to reach out to speak to someone about this. Each time was told someone would get back to me. Each time being told by the person on the phone “they were new there”. When I finally talked to someone (the rude one). I offered to come in and she told me not to?! I have spoken with my son’s doctor and took him to his paediatrician, both denying giving him a prescription for orthotics. Paediatrician shocked he was given orthotics considering his age…

It was 2 years ago today that I had a tragic accident and required surgery to repair the nerves and tendons in both my feet. I was referred here by a family member and quickly understood why they spoke so highly of the entire staff. From the moment I registered with the receptionist I felt welcome and comfortable. Darryl was my therapist and was very thorough and patient with me answering my many questions and explaining my treatment and assessment so that I could understand. With hard work and a lot of support and direction and treatment I was up and walking again ahead of schedule. I will always be grateful for the experience to be treated by this team of professionals and I continue to bring to my son here to be treated by the best!

I had a great experience at this clinic. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the clinic team is highly skilled. I came in with chronic low back pain and after 6 weeks of working with one of their Physiotherapists, my pain and function greatly improved. I will definitely be recommending this clinic!
