Standing beside my husband, I watched 2 women who were unsure of a purchase and were asking questions to the staff about the products. The staff was not able to explain how the various products differed in usage, taste, smell, quality, or how the different products' potency would vary. My husband stepped in and gave the women a thorough explanation of different vapes, chatted about the high differences or medicinal uses of different strains of oils and tinctures, and then actually made a sale for the employee. The women were thankful and left, and then my husband, who (late 40's balding and very grey), was asked for ID and not served.
Anyone who looks 25 and under, sure I get it, but when a man who is clearly in their mid to late 40's and 50's surely doesn't look like they are under age. When you're that old, you don't want to go back to the car and back into the store, then back to your car again.
Seriously, the staff in the store needs to learn their products; including what each version of their cannabis is used for, the type of high or medical properties, be able to explain how they are used for the best outcome for the customers needs and customer service skills.
When a man walks in and does their job in sales, there is a problem.
Does my husband at least get commission for sales?
