I'm lucky to have met and been accepted by Karen Parker. She is an incredible provider. I have received exceptional care from our first meet and greet. I'm relieved and hopefully for the future under her care. The entire team is fantastic. I feel the value is priceless for the amount they charge for a year of private care. I have already felt more proactive appointments and testing has been set up for my concerns in the last three months, then anyone else has looked into or booked in the last 5 years. Private care is the way to go, I feel supported and looking forward to years of great health in my future.

She's extremely knowledgeable and compassionate, and while I am sure she provides incredible health care to all of her patients regardless of gender, thank goodness for someone who takes women's health seriously! Beware of This Clinic’s Unethical Practices

My wife initially sought care at this clinic due to a bad experience with another doctor. We were relieved when she found a nurse practitioner she liked, and they agreed to a payment plan for the clinic’s $2400 yearly fee. After making the first payment, things seemed okay. However, the nurse practitioner, Karen, decided to take my wife off all her medications, prescribing only a 30-day supply.

Then, out of the blue, the clinic emailed us demanding an upfront payment of $1000 to continue on the monthly plan or required us to pay the remaining balance in full. They returned the second payment, dropped her as a client, and left her without any medications or guidance on what to do next. When we reached out for help, Karen sent a screen shot of a previous review my wife left after they dropped her and coldly wished my wife “good luck in the private sector.” Also tried to send her back to the bad experience doctor she had prior!

My wife had a very difficult few days before finding a compassionate provider who quickly got her back on the necessary medications. I cannot stress enough how unethical and uncaring this clinic was during a critical time in my wife’s health.

Please be cautious if you’re considering their services.

Don’t trust them. I received this email from Karen Parker in RESPONSE TO MY GOOGLE REVIEW.

“Anna- In review of the work product relating to our services rendered but not compensated for, and in consideration of how you have interacted with all clinical staff, I have contacted government to retract the the disability claim. In my professional opinion, you misinformed me relating to the functional severity of your disability claim. As such, i have indicated the documentation submitted to be fraudulent in nature.

You will have to resubmit a new claim with a new provider if you feel you qualify for a tax accommodation based on medical issues.

No further communications will be responded to relating to your interactions with this clinic.

Karen Parker has been great in the past, but this clinic is all about the money and they do not care about their patients. Karen has been helping me with my depression and anxiety, and we were in the middle of coming off a medication when I suddenly found myself abandoned. Neither Karen nor Tamara were available, and I was left dealing with a male staff member who informed me they would not move forward with my care because a payment was 5 days late due to a misunderstanding, they have refunded the payment and have refused care, stating they don't offer free services.

I received an email stating, "Hello Anna, I have refunded the payment you made. As stated in the last email, we are unable to move forward with any client on a monthly basis. Being a private clinic, we are not funded or staffed by the public system, and we don't have the necessary resources available to assist with your care at this time. This decision was made with Karen as well."

It’s disheartening to see that they prioritized money over patient care, especially during such a critical time in my treatment. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who is seeking compassionate and reliable care.

I feel so lucky to have gotten into Karen's practice when I did. She's by far the number one most amazing health care professional that I've ever been in the care of. She's not only down to earth and understanding, but extremely knowledgeable and caring. She doesn't treat you like a number, as my last doctor did. She takes the time to address every concern so that you're not leaving with more questions than you walked in with. I truly couldn't be more grateful to have her as my NP! Thanks, Karen! Karen Parker has been great. I've had several doctors over the last 10 years in the Canadian health care system. She is better than any of them. While she may not have the designation, she's got the knowledge, and has been very helpful. She takes the time to make sure we understand any issues. She's even called to follow up and make sure recovery is going well. That's very rare, and is appreciated.
