Made multiple calls and every time I had to wait 30+ minutes for someone to answer the call. Then the receptionist will rush you on the phone and hang up quickly. Was not like this 6 months ago. I will be dropping my family doctor at this location and look for a new clinic soon.

I got in touch with Well Health as requested below and they did not respond. Many things that need improved, but has only gotten worse the last 5 years.

My “family” doctor works a few days a week here, and when he’s working I’m usually only able to book a walk in appointment and hope I get him and not another doctor when I get my turn. Theres no way to book an appointment time even if you’re a patient here, you can only book a time to show up and wait with other walk in patients. This is an issue as I need to see MY family doctor for multiple reasons and I’m not sure how anymore.

The staff also will not help you book, as WELL health makes clients book their own appointments. Clients who need help and go into the clinic in person or call the office are directed to go on their phone or go home to book an appointment for themselves. I’m not sure how much worse it can get, but it’s not what the Canadian health care standard should be.

Issues are fairly clear through customer testimonials and have been stated multiple times previously; if they wanted to do a better job they would have by now. Since Well Health took over they've somehow managed to make the place worse.

Absolutely terrible place, no human available to communicate with patients.
Phone number is closed to calls.
Just pathetic, when you finally get through you are automatically put on hold for more than 15 minutes and no one speaking, then they drop the call. Dr Hardy get this practice sorted out, wasn't like this 5 years ago.
A response here from the clinic would be nice but after reading other comments, it seems they only respond to positive comments.

The doctors not even taking a look at you after you waiting so much time in the waiting room.
My doctor gave me a referral, when I came back and asked what going on with my referral after 6 months, she look on the computer and told me she forgot to press “submit”.
I wanted an appointment after couple months I didn’t visit the clinic and they told me that because I didn’t visit the clinic more than 2 years (which is wrong) I need to ask my doctor if she still willing to be my doctor.
I called to book an appointment and they told me I need to go online, when I was insist they put me on the line for at least 10 minutes and I just gave up.
Even not a 1 star… I would give them minus stars if it was possible.

Disappointing experience at the walk-in clinic

I recently visited this clinic on a Saturday and my experience was quite frustrating. After a 2h30 wait, I was finally called by a very professional and competent nurse, who took the time to listen to my symptoms and make a good diagnosis. She then informed me that the doctor would see me.

Unfortunately, it was from there that everything went downhill. The doctor didn't even bother to read the information the nurse had carefully written down. I had to explain everything to him again. After a few exchanges, he told me he was coming back... and disappeared for 15 minutes. When he returned, he apologized, saying he was with another patient and would be back shortly. After another 10 minutes, he finally returns to tell me that he has no medication to prescribe and that I must come back on Monday.

Honestly, this lack of organization and professionalism is unacceptable. Waiting several hours for such poor service is frustrating and disappointing. If you're looking for an efficient, well-run clinic, I wouldn't recommend this one, at least not with this doctor.

Went to this clinic on Sunday, after 5 days of fever. The front desk staff was lovely and accommodating. Saw the doctor very briefly, was told some samples were being sent to the lab. Contacted another doctor Tuesday, sent to the lab the same day, results the next morning, on meds by Wednesday and finally healing. Called this clinic and asked why no one called me about my abnormal results only to be told that that doctor was out sick. Huge hole in procedures if no one else is checking labs, 4 extra days of sickness because of this. So not happy! Again, front desk staff were lovely and apologetic.

Went in for strep throat on a Sunday, which I’ve had many times. Was leaving the country Wednesday morning. Asked for antibiotics & the Dr instead did a swab & said I needed to wait for results. I also had a bit of a cough and stuffy nose, which I said was from bronchitis a month ago (work in a school) but he still said no, too many symptoms. My partner (who is male, I’m female) then went in to see him with the same strep concern and was given antibiotics with no swab needed. The lady at the front desk said I could call the lab for results Tuesday afternoon. I did, and they weren’t ready. Got a call from the clinic on Thursday to let me know the swab was positive even though the Dr was “95% sure” it wasn’t strep. I was out of the country so couldn’t do anything. Listened to the concerns of my male partner and gave proper treatment but had no respect for me. Total joke.
