I had a meet and greet with Dr. Ipko and, unfortunately, didn’t have a good experience. She came across as unpersonable and seemed slightly annoyed throughout the appointment. I spoke about one of my health concerns and what I thought it might be and she immediately shot it down and didn’t ask any more clarifying questions. I also noted a huge health insecurity to her and she made a comment that seemed unnecessary and was quite hurtful. I might have caught her on a bad day but the whole visit left me feeling very discouraged. I waited over a month for this appointment and am left back at square one. I also wasn’t seen until 30 minutes past my appointment time. The receptionist were great but unfortunately I won’t be coming back.

I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with this clinic. I visited for a walk-in appointment with my family doctor and was prescribed Cyclobenzaprine along with Codeine. When I went to the pharmacy, the pharmacist was alarmed by the high dosage and combination, warning me that taking them as prescribed could be dangerous or even life-threatening. The pharmacist immediately contacted the clinic to clarify the prescription.

Despite multiple attempts, there was no response from the clinic before they closed at 5 PM, leaving me without safe access to the medication. I had to delay taking anything due to serious concerns about my safety.

The next day, when I called the clinic, I was told the doctor had gone on vacation, and no one followed up on the pharmacy’s urgent request. This lack of accountability and communication is extremely unprofessional — especially when controlled substances are involved. Patients shouldn’t be left in the dark when their health is at risk.

First off all you need to pay for the parking. Second prepare for the mood challenging of receptionist and out front staff. It took 4-6 weeks to make an appointment seeking a family doctor. Been told as this appointment only “MEET AND GREET”. Once there the front staff said my appointment been canceled and only my husband can get in. There is no room for the other person. The fact is, I have to cleared my afternoon and evening schedule and paid for the parking. I loose $454.95 just to just “meet and greet” the doctor ? And the worst is I cannot even see them. I don’t think I’ll recommend this clinic to anybody. Now I know they get 3 stars for a reason.

Amazing support staff. Dr Ipko has taken me as new patient & she is very approachable + knowledgeable. I also find the Reception Staff welcoming, as compared to the other clinics I have been to in Calgary.

I've had an absolutely wonderful experience here with my regular doctor, Dr. Sutiono. She's to the point and quick but thorough which I appreciate and has always provided solid guidance and support with my health concerns. I also had an amazing experience with Dr. Pabbies who is one of the most caring and supportive doctors I've ever had the opportunity to see!

While the wait times can be a bit long, and the reception staff are not the friendliest, I definitely would still recommend this clinic as its one of the better ones in Calgary since the doctors are awesome and the location is good!

Dr. Jake Donaldson is a great doctor and overall human being. He genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time to understand and explain. He held my hand and helped me navigate through a very difficult health crisis. I will always be grateful. Thank you!

In my experience, Dr. Donaldson is kind, and genuinely receptive to his patient's concerns. I'm rarely left feeling unheard or dismissed. I like that he lays trust in his patients' ability to know themselves, and is willing to explore various avenues to see what works and what doesn't.

At no point have I ever felt forced or coerced into treatments; everything is explained in detail and if there's even a hint of hesitation, he'll tell you to take time to think about it and revisit at a later date.

This is especially true when discussing the prospect of hormone therapy and gender affirming surgeries, but has also been true for concerns unrelated to gender affirming care. Nothing is done hastily without consideration.

I will admit that it can be a bit of a wait if you want an in-person appointment, but he also offers appointments by phone if it's something that doesn't require an in-person exam, and is otherwise worth the wait.

I’m dismayed by these reviews - as, I don’t find the relatable at all to my individual visits. I would offer that in my own experience, this clinic is full of attentive, professional, and knowledgeable staff. This is a team which works very well together to support patients. I’ve never witnessed anything other than considerate time management to accommodate patient needs as thoughtfully and safely as possible. My doctor here is the best I’ve had yet - genuinely caring, intelligent, reasonable, professional, and most importantly intentional. I have never had a bad experience. I have received, truly, the best care at this clinic. I am always treated with respect here -which, I am only too happy to reciprocate because they are fairly fabulous here.
