Whether it’s check-ups or questions about our child, he’s always patient, thorough, and never makes us feel rushed. He’s professional, approachable, and genuinely cares. While Dr. Rashid is competent at her role, the time spent asking relevant questions, discussing treatments is done in a manner that is rushed, and with little to no continuity. My physical took 15 minutes despite being scheduled for 45 minutes.
The reception staff are often rude, curt, and unprofessional, with more than a little sanctimonious attitude.

I was extremely disappointed with the receptionist’s unprofessional and incompetent behaviour. When I asked a basic question about wait times, she dismissed me by saying I was “too much” and abruptly hung up instead of simply checking for an answer. Following the call, she even complained to my doctor, claiming I was rude—despite the fact that I was simply trying to get information and was continuously interrupted and ignored.

As a long-time patient of this clinic for over 10 years, I have never encountered a receptionist who reacted emotionally, refused to assist, and then portrayed themselves as a victim. A receptionist’s role is to facilitate communication and assist patients, not make them feel like an inconvenience. Given that this is a medical clinic, staff should be prepared to handle sick or distressed patients professionally, rather than expecting patients to cater to their emotions.

I was surprised when Dr. Tao brought up the receptionist’s complaint, as it is not a patient’s responsibility to accommodate a receptionist’s feelings—especially when their job is to handle situations like this professionally. This experience was disappointing and uncalled for, and I hope it is addressed appropriately.

The doctor I saw here was so patronizing, condescending, dismissive and unhelpful that I was turned off of government medical care altogether for many years. Although my family and I are registered patients of his, when I called to make an appointment this year, they said I was no longer a patient because I didn’t see him frequently enough (so, apparently you need to be sick more often to maintain your GP these days? Wouldn’t that incentivize docs to keep you sick instead of help you be well?!). So even though my husband went 2 weeks ago, I can no longer go there and must go through the time consuming and frustrating process of trying to find a new GP that is taking new clients (only to be potentially removed from that client list if I don’t go there regularly enough?). This is not “health care”, it’s sick care. If you’re healthy most of the time, you are not going to receive care. Front desk was not helpful or kind/compassionate in any way. 10/10 would NOT recommend this clinic.
