They help out lots, enabling important travel which would be impossible otherwise. However, there are limits/restrictions that have cost me greatly, (only 1 escort allowed, but both parents need to accompany the very young patient, and other similar things) and aren't right, and definitely need to change. Apparently I need to contact my local MLA to look into this, which I intend to.
For the staff directly involved, they are overworked I think, because there are often very long wait times, and huge delays at times, with vehicles arriving to transport you. And commonly staff seem to get sidetracked with other things. Hopefully they don't have to deal with too much stressful situations...
Definitely alot of room for improvement, but I am very grateful for the help they provide.
