I always had a good experience here…wait time is ok not too much like the other big cities. Staff is really nice and welcoming. Never ever had any bad experiences.
The only problem is when you call you have to wait a lot and that’s really frustrating sometimes otherwise everything is good.

Doctors are good but they want you to cancel appointments 24 hours in advance which is literally impossible in case of an emergency, so now they wont let me do bloodwork the same day as my prenatal checkup, so to appease these people I have to go up 2 days in a row which is the whole reason why I cancelled my appointments in the first place. Next day I call and re-booked them for March 11th 12:00 and 1:30 but they said they cant do that (they were already booked😂) so now I have to go up again tomorrow they should pay me $40.00 for a missed appointment to cover my gas😂🤡

Doctors are great just not enough, i moved to Elliot Lake 3 years ago with my 2 children.
we still don't have family Dr.we go to hospital for every medical procedure needed,takes hours and now im going through medical issues that require specialist and surgery im having to suffer in pain and discomfort for months.due to the lack of Doctors. we now have to travel hours to see specialists, whom is now booking for june sometime to set dates for tests. it will be over a year when i finally get surgery, that's a whole year of pain and discomfort.

Dr . Amir went above and beyond for my father and the family. His bed side manner is exceptional. Probably one of the most amazing humans I've ever met. Truly blessed & thankful to have him for my parents.

I moved. from alberta to elliot lake with my children , I have been trying to get threw to the same day clinic as I do not have a dr
I’ve called several times in between 830-10am and always a recording says there full
I go in to see what going on and get told to call and just keep calling
Only if my son didn’t need routine follow up with blood work as he deals with high medication due to seizures and the hospital here been there 3 times and what a joke some of these dr are
The last dr wouldn’t do blood work for a week she wanted to adjust his meds first but we don’t even know if they need to be adjusted why play around with meds and not know if he need them up 🤬🤬🤬
What a headache to get a apt
I begin to wonder is there even is a same day clinic? 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️feeling very frustrated 🤬looks like a trip to blind river hospital

I cannot get a doctor here yet. I have to go to Sudbury for specialized tests if I need them. I got a referral for an appointment to see an EMT doctor after going to the emergency department at SJGH but that was close to a year ago and I am going to have another 6 months more to wait. Another added referral was sent to a specialist in Sudbury, but I haven't heard anything there either.

Doctor Amir took me on as a patient after looking for a doctors for 3 years and he put me through a barrage of tests and to find out early enough that I had cancer and I'm going to the sudbury cancer clinic for my many sessions. Thankyou Doctor Amir for everything
