We moved my mother to Muskoka Landing Retirement Lodge six months ago. The residence is gorgeous with everything being new. They opened in June of '23. My mother absolutely loves it there. She has a lovely suite with a balcony that has a stunning view of Fairy Lake that is across the road from the residence. They have a dock for the residents to sit on in the summer to enjoy the view. The staff and management are wonderful. They all know my mom by name and treat her in a respectful and friendly way always with a smile. She feels very cared for in all aspects of her needs.The food is delicious with a large variety of meals and two choices for each meal. All the residents rave about food. This was the best thing we could have done for my mom. She is very happy here and feels as though everyone is like a family!!

We moved my Dad to Muskoka Landing last June to be closer to me. . He is not an easy man to please, and was in two other retirement homes in the past. This is by far the best place. It is very close to shopping and he has not complained about the food, which is a first. The lake is close by, so the scenery is beautiful. Most importantly the staff are all very friendly and helpful. It also has many extra services (extra cost, but reasonable) such as meal delivery, which other homes did not provide easily. The home is extremely well maintained. He had a flu bug last July, and they checked on him regularly plus brought his meals to his room. My father is not always an easy man to deal with, but the home manages the situation well, with a lot of patience and understanding. I can’t think of anything they could do better.
