I don't even know where to begin. Is it the fact that Jamie save me from making a expensive and horrible decision for my hair? Maybe it's the incredible welcomeness I felt while I was there, as if I had always been going there? The hospitality? The inclusivity? The entertainment of the banter alone is well worth going here. But above all else I managed to get a haircut that I was happy with the day before the cut for the first time in my adult life! Jamie and the gang truly made me feel like me for the first time in a very long time! They might not realize it, but they can literally change lives! Thank you to the entire crew! I can't wait to come back!

New to the area and was hoping to find my 'home' salon. Unfortunately, Alberto's missed the mark.

It wasn’t horrible. The staff was friendly. The salon, clean and comfortable.
There was a disconnect as to what I wanted and what I received. As I was discussing colour with my stylist, a man intervened and although he was polite, instructed her on what colour(s) to make.
My hair had turned quite brassy due to sun etc. and I wanted a darker, richer colour for fall. All in all, I left with a freshened up version of what I came in with; still brassy (I have 'blue shampoo' in my amazon cart, lol).
The cut was fine. I didn’t want a lot off, just a ‘fresher upper’ which she did. When it came to styling, it was very disappointing. I asked for it straight (I have naturally curly hair). She blow dried it straight, but did it quickly so it was still pretty frizzy, and that was it. I was the last appointment of the day so who knows? Maybe if I came earlier, I would have had a different experience. Unfortunately, for the price, it was very disappointing and I won't be back.
To compare, my last colour/cut/style was at Rinaldi’s in Barrie with a senior stylist. The service lasted 3+ hours. I walked out of there feeling like a rock star for pretty much the same price as the service at Alberto’s which was under 2 hours and not even comparable in terms of quality and service.

Jamie is amazing. Plenty of experience, listens to what you want. Simply the best hair style & colour I've ever had. You will not be disappointed. Friendly staff. Ideal location with ample parking. Nice decor with plenty of windows to enjoy the view. I will be returning as a regular client.

I was so pleased to get an appointment and that’s where it ended. John, the owner, told me I came on the wrong day then, as I tried to explain what ‘I’ wanted, he began telling me off. He did not listen. After a few minutes I tried again and he stop and said ‘I can’t cut and listen to you. You decide. If you want me to cut stop talking’. This resulted in one of the worst haircut by someone who thought he knew my hair better than me. And I’ve worn it for 64 years!!

While passing through Huntersville, I called ahead and was able to get in pretty much right away to see John for a touch up of my undercut. Not only was everyone there very welcoming and friendly but John’s own professionalism and competency really shined through. I was in and out of there in less than ten minutes and he did a better job than the original stylist back in the USA. He is also willing to do designs if he has the stencil ahead of time, which spoke to the level of pride he takes in his work; he wants it to be perfect! I would definitely recommend stopping by!

I was able to get in same day which was great, but John didn’t put very much colour in my hair, poorly styled it then I was leaving getting ready to pay and it was $260 for a few purple highlights, a few blonde highlights and a trim and now a week later the colour is washed out. NOT a happy customer that’s for sure will not be going back
