My Fathers Will was created by this lawyer, my father was deemed with, Vascular Dementia in July/2017
This lawyer proceeded to still meet with my father when my father could not remembering that he had called him, or what the need of the visit was for. At this point the lawyer chose to still attend the appointment and proceeded to make legal changes in September/2017. The lawyer was advised that very day my father did not remember calling or the nature of his call.
I did contacted the law society, they were interested to know how the lawyer thought he had the footing
to make a decision to override a Doctors diagnosis and change a legal document.
Being the Power of Attorney.
Does this lawyer even know what Dementia is, yes my father might have a good 5 minutes, or a good 1 hr but to be allowed to make legal changes behind a closed door with a Dementia patient and a lawyer alone
In a room is SO WRONG. My father could not even tell me what changes were made within a 1hr time period the same day...!!

Nice lady but I dislike all lawyers, I guess I would change if I ever meet one that is actually working for the clients instead of themselves. If you want to make things difficult, time consuming and stressful bring in a lawyer, if a boatload of lawyers sunk in a boat I would feel sorry for the boat.
