Doctor Peeka is the pediatrician for both my daughter and my granddaughter. He has been such a blessing to them both. They both ended up in emergency and he showed up in the middle of the night to deliver the best medical care and put my mind at ease. My 4 year old adores him, as do I. Keep up the great work Doctor Peeka and his amazingly kind staff. If you can get this man as your child’s doctor consider yourself blessed.

I took my 14-month-old son to the doctor, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The doctor was busy watching reels on Facebook the entire time, which made us wait much longer than expected. When the doctor finally saw my son — who was suffering from severe chest congestion — he dismissed it, saying my son seemed fine because he was smiling.

When I asked him to properly check my son’s chest and back with a stethoscope, he got defensive and started yelling at me, saying things like, “You’re not a doctor — this isn’t a movie.” The next day, when my son developed a high fever and vomited in the morning, we rushed him to the emergency department at Northern Light Hospital. After an X-ray of his chest, we found out that he had pneumonia.

Despite my son’s serious condition, the previous doctor — who I believe is highly unprofessional — claimed my child was fine just because he was smiling. I strongly urge the people of Fort McMurray to avoid this doctor if you truly care about your children’s health.I want the Government of Alberta to revoke Dr. Peeka’s license because he requires further education.

Dr. Peeka has been our doctor since 2020. He answered all our questions and very detailed with relevant information and resources. He is very reliable. Waiting hours in his clinic is not that bad. The front desk lady is very accommodating as well.

My family's experience has been good so far. Dr. Peeka always takes the time to listen; not quick to prescribe medications and makes himself available outside of normal business hours which is a bonus.
Maribel (Admin.) is always welcoming, friendly, understanding, and easy to deal with.
The wait can be long when Dr. is on call, but that's understandable.

Doctor Peeka is the best pediatric in town, My son was born and just under a month he was sick. Doctor took care of my son very nicely, concerned couple of Doctors and come up with solution. He is very polite.He is the best Doctor, would highly recommend him.

He’s such a hands-on doctor. After I gave birth and we got home, we found out our baby had jaundice. He continuously monitored my baby, had his blood taken , and found out that the bilirubin levels were high. He called us right away to go to the hospital. He guided us on everything we needed to do when we arrived at the emergency room. Even at night, if I messaged him about my sick baby, he would reply super fast and send the prescription to the pharmacy right away. He’s the best!

Dr peeka is wonderful he always answers any concerns we have with our little one. We never feel rushed and he genuinely cares about his patients. I highly recommend you guys see him if you have any concerns about your little ones.

Doctor Peeka is the best doctor . He saved my son’s life . After seeing him the 4th time when my son was born , he realized that the pattern of his heart beat is not regular . He referred us to cardiologist in Edmonton to check it out . It turned out that my son has serious blockages in his main heart artery , he was right away admitted to the hospital & did heart surgery . If we didn’t see Doctor peeka , We would have not known . It’s Miracle he is alive . If Doctor peeka was not delicate with his job we would have not found that my son has a serious blockage . He is the best doctor ,I would highly recommend him to every baby . when we need something from him , he always replies even on the weekend. He is very dedicated to his job . As much as we thank him , it is not enough . we are so grateful for God that my son is alive .
