As new resident to Fort McMurray trying find new doctor
My experience here is terrible not only. Did she disregard my wife and make her cry upon leaving Did not listen to word we had to say. About what we were currently taking for medications that are family doctor. Has had us on for years. Which she gave me once and not my wifes said wont get it again find new doctor or wait for mri Making us through hoops and made us feel like in adequate humans or less of person

also i seen her solo and thought she was decent Then we went as a family and it was the complete opposite. She did not listen to what my wife needed to say, she interrupted and cut her off from answering her questions. Flat out said she would stop medications she has been on for close to a decade and wait to see a psychiatrist that’s over a year wait?! (Not to mention we have an autistic child)
And there’s no such thing as perimenopause and menopause doesn’t start until you’re 52 😡
Also my wife has gallstones, gall polyps and pancreatitis and also waiting for surgery but she left crying before that could be talked about

not sure what her problem is- women in general? Mixed couples? Flat out racist? Assuming my wife is someone she’s not?
We are from Calgary and are looking for a family Doctor that can continue from where ours left off, because our doctor is amazing and never had any issues- she listened and truly cared

Dr Aruuj is amazing, hes been my family doctor for years until i recently moved. But the receptionist are rude, and have no idea what they are doing. Been told over the last couple months that files where sent to my new doctor like i requested. Now out of the blue after i found out from my new doctor a month later, that they never sent my files and they are trying to charge out of the blue. When i called i was lied to several times before the truth came out, and they arent helpful what so ever. Keep up the great work Dr. Arruj, but time to get new receptionists Would be great to if anyone could answer a phone correctly or at all. Feel bad for the patients that have to deal with the receptionists tardiness. Thanks to them i could possibly lose a great spot at an important clinic in my new city.

Doctor Arruj and his staff are amazing!
He listens and is friendly and knowledgeable. He has helped me with health goals that I couldn’t have attained without his expertise and support. His receptionist’s have always gone above and beyond to help me as well. This is a doctor who we are fortunate to have in our community!!!!

Dr Arruji is great!! However, receptionists are quite rude and seem to not know what they’re doing. I’ve been hung up on when being put “on hold”, I’ve been booked twice now and went in on that day only to see they’re closed. I called to reschedule an appointment and nobody seemed to know how, they told me they’d call me back and hung up. I called back 2 days later to just book an appointment considering they never called back that day to reschedule. Everytime I call they seem very dry and rude. Doctor and nurse are great though!!

Worst doctors office I've been to. I think it's mostly the front staff, but every appointment the doctor has been half an hour late, 15 mins I can understand... Can't effectively communicate in English. I asked 3 times on the phone if they could do a physical fitness and lifting test and whether or would cost me or be covered under my insurance. To which they told me they did and that it was.
I got there and they wanted $50 cash, didn't have the equipment to do the test, and couldn't refer me anywhere to do it. I walked across the hall to another doctor, asked to transfer my file to them. They had no problem helping me. They also put me on pills that I did not need, charged for a work clearance note that didn't clear me and just, over all, have no knowledge of their own procedures and forms.

No compaint about doctor, since he handled my file very seriously. Problem is with front desk, who can not communicate effectively and also very long time of period to answer phone call. Get trained to handle phone calls of patients in courteous manner, not like slave of yours.

Today I was on hold for 7 minutes, asked to make an appointment, was told to hold on, was back on hold for 6 mins , someone answered, said something in a foreign language and hung up. Expect this kind of service as whenever I try and book an appointment I'm usually on hold for 10 minutes. This one topped all my previous experiences. Time for more staff if your that busy. Try to find someone who has Canadian customer service experience.

I feel sorry to those who have felt this way to put those abusive and obscene comments about the front desk receptionist's.
I find them to be professional and extremely devoted workers. I'm sure In the medical field, not everything is easy to explain nor understand, and maybe they are just reflecting back the attitude you are treating them with.
You're doing great ladies, Keep up the good work. They're just being biased.
