My wife and I have been trying to help my 87-year old mother-in-law acquire hearing aids but ran into many roadblocks with Provincial Administrstive systems and policies. It was one delay after another. However, not only did the Grande Prairie Soundwave staff do a wonderful job with the hearing test, treating my mother-in-law with kid gloves, but they consistently helped us navigate the system to get her funding approved. They also helped us bypass the red tape of the Provincial Policy that required an in office fitting once the hearing aids arrived, as it was impossible for my mother-in-law to travel due to health issues. A special thank you must go to Line Moffet who did most of the legwork for us, and without her help we would not have received the hearing aids. My wife and I highly recommend the Grande Prairie Soundwave Hearing Care Office. They are very professional and more importantly are wonderful people. Thank you Line and all the staff at Soundwave that helped us.

They did a poor mold on my son’s hearing aid and told us to come back for a free remold if it didn’t stay in the ear, then wouldn’t honour that promise. Won’t be back.

I would give Soundwave in Grand Prairie, 6 stars if it was possible. I was visiting family in Grand Prairie from Nova Scotia and the dome came off my oticon hearing aid. It was lodged far inside my ear canal. I thought that I was going to have to go to a doctor. Melanie the audiologist removed the dome from my ear. She also replaced the filters and domes on both hearing aids. I walked in without an appointment and she took me rate in. Excellent service. I highly recommend Soundwave Hearing Care.

They like to take your money, but after you've had hearing aid for a couple years they won't service them at all. Seniors can't afford to buy hearing aids every couple years. But these guys won't clean or repair if they are more then a couple years old. They just say oh well. You just need to come get new ones. Terrible company

Soundwave has been super accommodating with both my partner and I. We are happy with the customer service, friendliness and professionalism of the staff and have had very positive experiences.
For myself, I had a test booked but due to a miscommunication we had different dates. They called to confirm my appointment for the next day but I was already on my way in for what I thought was an appointment that day (I live 1.5 hrs away). They were able to fit me in on short notice. As mine was testing for an application she completed all the paperwork and advised if anything at all happened where I no longer had my copy I could just call and get a copy of the results sent to me.
My partner needed hearing aids for his driver medical. They got him in quickly and ordered him up hearing aids which he received and is super happy with. When he requested rechargeable port they ordered that but due to unavailability was taking a long time to receive. Soundwave reached out to him and offered another product which would arrive sooner.
