All we heard was bad things about the hospital, its service and the way we would be treated.

My wife and I just went through the longest process to get our son into this world and this hospital was the last stop before meeting us.

It was a huge deal. They set up a prelim tour for us so we could see exactly where to park, how to use the priceless parking app. The app is amazing btw.

They gave us all the info we needed prior to coming in, day one we arrived they took us in arms wide open and showed us family treatment.

They showed us the orientation again just to be sure and even gave us baby supplies even though we had our own. They showed so much care for my wife as we were headed in.

Doc Barreth was absolutely amazing, his personality made us feel like there wasn’t a worry in the world. Thank you doc we appreciate you.

The staff in the labour room were honestly god sent, like a dream they catered to my wife in every way.

When my son arrived they treated him like gold and pampered him every way. They coached me every step as I didn’t even know how to hold him. They answered every question within it hesitation and so friendly.

After we got back to our room they checked on us every couple hours, ready to help anyway they could. Every and all the staff here made us feel like family and that’s no exaggeration at all. We felt like one big family on the maternity floor.

Doctor Barreth stopped twice to check on our son. We felt privileged as he is a surgeon and took the time to come visit. Amazing.

The lactation specialist came in twice and helped so much to teach us with a hands on approach.

When we thought the experience couldn’t get better, they gave our baby boy a beautiful quilt and a beautiful touqe.

These people and their professionalism blew my mind. On the most beautiful time of our lives these people were like angels looking after us the entire way.

You should all be so proud of how amazing you all are. Your second to none and we can vouch for that.

Thank you gprh for the most beautiful experience in the most amazing time of our lives. Your excellence brings tears to my eyes just writing this for the experience you provided us. Thank you

I just wanna give a shout to the ladies working at emerge. You’re not only incredible at your job but also super kind hearted! I went in for my son having an allergic reaction and the nurses went above and beyond to make our hospital visit, not only tolerable, but somewhat enjoyable. my little guy is only two years old so as you can imagine he’s a handful, but the ladies offered him a toy, he got snacks and a popsicle! To also mention, I had forgot my phone in my husband truck when he dropped us off and the nurses were so helpful with looking up his work phone number for me, allowing me to use their phone and being patient while we waited. It was a very stressful time because I was wondering how we were going to get home but they didn’t force us out at all! Overall, we were in and out within three hours, and I left with a really happy little guy. Thank you so much!! I hope that you read this shoot out and get the credit you deserve!

Maternity unit - new, clean, very spacious room, new technology - very impressive! Friendly staff. They took good care of my daughter-in-law.

Special mention to Nurse Carrie - she was friendly and efficient. Her shift was over by the time our new baby arrived. She took the time to say Hi to her the next day.

So pleased with the triage nurse who was very thorough in his evaluation with my husband. The doctor was amazing as well. Every staff member including the admin staff were friendly in the emergency department, and I’m truly grateful
that we received such good care. We were from out of town and have been struggling with our health care in BC, so it was a refreshing change to experience this quality of care. Too many people complain about this hospital- but they don’t realize how good they have it.

We are from out of town and had to take my son into hospital for an emergency visit. From start to finish we had a great experience. Reception staff were great, nurses were awesome and so was the doctor. In and out in less than 2 hours and that included X Rays. Also, the hospital was incredibly clean. No complaints at all! Thank you GP!

Had my first seizure when I was at work got brought to the hospital to be literally forgotten about showed up at 12, I haven’t seen a doctor since 1 I asked for food 4 hours ago, no response. It’s now 7:30 and still no doctors for my CT scan. I am also terrified of needles and the one nurse dug into me trying to get blood flow I was screaming stop like 4 different times she didn’t stop and so I asked for a new nurse. She got pissed off and started talking behind my back saying I’ve been doing this for years, which I call bs bc if you have done it for years you would’ve gotten the blood for the vial instead of making my fear 20x worse. I’ve had bad experiences before but never like this, I now officially hate the hospitals because I was just needing help and they forgot about me and when they didn’t forget about me the nurses were talking shit about me so that’s great.

Completely Disappointed Staff are very rude After one hour they came to know that they need a urine sample as They even didn’t assign the doctor untill 2 am as my sister had a severe pain Though the doctors were standing free on the counter and talking with each other and laughing loudly Here the meaning of emergency means. waiting for 5-6 hours. Rubbish Medical emergency Services in this hospital

Took my wife , a luekemia patient in with an infection and maybe a cold. She has no imune system to battle this kind of thing. They put her in a room and flat out ignored her for 5 hours its not the first time this has happened. The nurse both times ........same one when asked after 5 hours where the dr was had the nerve to say " its a good place not a fast place" That is downright unacceptable for someone to be told that at a place that is supposed to take care of you. Truly the worst place to take your loved ones. Thier actoins could put her health at risk. Hope they are content with that cause i am not. I am very angry and discusted with the care they say they give
