I wish I could give it 0 stars but this is the minimum rating I can give, which just so happens to be the exact same amount of effort the nursing staff gives to the residents. The nurses on staff are idiots who think they're doctors, delegating any and all "nursing" activities to the overworked HCAs. The residents living there are constantly neglected and left to sit in their own messes for hours, leaving them sore and in pain and It's disgusting. To see the level of effort they go to NOT help people at a -care- facility is appalling and quite frankly it's not worth any amount of price to live there.

We moved our mom into Prairie Lakes. We are happy with her placement. Communication is a bit difficult. She did not get the room we viewed which is disappointing as she really likes light and watching the world out side. Her room is so dull that we had to bring lamps so we could see to play cards. The staff are friendly, patient and kind which is highly important. Mom praises the food.

Everybody is VERY kind and friendly. They are always ready to help people with warm-hearted manner. I am SO lucky to stay here(=Hospice)even though I have no idea how long live here. But I deeply thank to Alberta Health Services. I hope that every patients will be survived from here and get back to their normal life. Thanks 😊

My dad has been at Prairie Lake for over a year now. We have been absolutely blown away by the quality of care at this facility. All the caregivers are top notch and the food and amenities are great too. We are so happy he is there- complete peace of mind.

The move has been great. The staff were very accommodating when we first moved in allowing us to make sure we were set for when my husband arrived to the home. The staff are all so friendly and very helpful. So happy we chose this place as when I leave at night I have no worries my husband will be taken care of.
