Higson dental has always been a great experience for me. They make you feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. The staff are friendly and always smiling when they greet you upon arrival. The dr’s are caring and always want what’s best for your oral hygiene. It’s easy to book appointments and the office is always clean. Highly recommend

Dr Higson is a very down to earth, competent dentist.
I went in for veneers and came out with my natural teeth!
He is very professional, and concerned about the cost of treatments, and if they are really needed.
At the beginning of my journey I was looking at $8000.00 in veneers, this was a lot of money but I felt was worth it.
After seeing the condition of my own teeth once the temporary frontal fillings were removed, I was hesitant about putting veneers on..or having anything on my teeth.
Dr Higson told me to think about it and let him know what I wanted to proceed with, even after all the prep work had been done by his office.
I truly do trust his opinion and judgement in regards to ANY dental or cosmetic procedures.
I appreciated that he respected my hesitation at completing the treatment, and that he wanted to make sure that I wanted to go ahead with veneers.
He also suggested that I only needed to veneer 4
teeth instead of the 6, I thought I should do.
He demonstrated that he has great integrity as he wouldn’t be “selling” me what originally had been quoted and in fact started for the treatment plan.

I've been going to Higson since 2017 when I moved to GP and they have been fantastic! I've always seen Dr. Schamehorn and he's really great and experienced, I've never had issues.

Great office located in a location with lots of parking, stairs and an elevator. The front desk staff make you feel right at home immediately when you walk in the door. They are generally always on time with appointments, it is a very professionally run office.

I have been going to Higson Dental since moving to Grande Prairie 6 years ago. From the front desk, to the assistants and hygienists, to Dr Higson himself, you will not find a more positive and inviting dental office in town.

They are also amazing with kids. My step daughter has been going since she was little and we have never had a single issue getting her to go.

We actually look forward to our appointments and seeing the amazing staff. 10/10 would recommend!

My family of 5 has been going to Higson Dental for over a year. If you have children, they have a great waiting room with touch screen games. During their cleaning, they have televisions on the roof!! A great distraction for them. The staff is wonderful, patient and kind towards children. My kids have had no complaints since the switch!

As for myself, I was having tooth pain and knew I needed work. I was given knowledgeable options and made the choice to go with a root canal. The title scared me but Dr Higson quickly calmed my nerves. During the procedure it was...so easy! I was comfortable the whole time, the following days I had little to no pain. It was just a great experience. As a woman in my 30's, I've been to a few different dentists and I'm very thankful for Dr. Higson's calming, knowledge tone and QUALITY work. I truly believe my family is in good hands here. Thank you!!

I’ve yet to have any services done here but I have taken my daughter’s trick or treating as my sister in law and cousin both work there. The staff have always been so kind, friendly and inviting! The space is always so bright and clean!
