I’m extremely disappointed with the care my nan received at Sunset Manor Nursing Home. What was supposed to be a safe, caring environment turned out to be neglectful and dehumanizing. She spent three years there, and throughout that time, we witnessed a consistent failure to provide the basic care she needed and deserved.

She was often left in bed all day and night, with little to no effort made to ensure her comfort, mobility, or overall well-being. Her medications were frequently mishandled — missed doses, incorrect administration, and poor oversight. Even more alarming, she was supposed to be on oxygen, yet there were multiple occasions when it simply wasn’t being administered. This isn’t a small oversight — it had serious potential consequences for her health.

The most heartbreaking part came after her passing. Her personal belongings — the things that represented her life, memories, and dignity — were carelessly thrown into garbage bags. There was no compassion, no respect, no acknowledgment of who she was or what she meant to us.

Families place an enormous amount of trust in facilities like Sunset Manor to care for their loved ones with dignity, respect, and competence. Sunset Manor broke that trust. It felt cold, impersonal, and at times, negligent.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Please, think twice before placing someone you love in their care.

If I have option for negative stars . I will give them. The management is so stupid and they don’t have authority to do right or wrong they are based on Google for everything. The staff and PSW are doing so wrong with patients. They didn’t CSh ge the resident on time, using phone all the time. The full time PSW working like DOC of the home. If you will approach to the management for your rights. They will don’t allow you to work for them. I have some proofs for the home why death rate is so high. If you have doubt contact me. Improve your skills and hire good staff for patient care. I will try to approach to ministry for that all.

Don't leave your family in the care of this place! The staff rarely check on those they are to care for and when they do they make so many mistakes! And when mistakes are make you will be stuck with the bills to fix there mess. Ownership is lazy,uncaring, and disgusting

Im not impressed with the staff . They cant even put clean sheets on the beds after taking off dirty ones.. And asking tentants personal questions to whom the tentant is taking to on phone. Which does not concern the staff. Please be more caring and respectful. Blessed be
