When I first walked through the doors of the beautiful yellow house, I felt the love, warmth, and comfy feeling that you get when you’re at home. The West Island Cancer Wellness Centre heals the heart ❤️ and helps patients and their families learn to thrive again. It’s a wonderful place filled with wonderful people.

The Cancer Wellness Center is an incredible place and free resource for those facing the hardship that is cancer. Weather you or a significant other has been affected by cancer, the wellness center is incredibly accommodating providing several resources and information to help with your endeavors. Cancer is a broad term, and effects everyone differently, at the center they are well aware of this, though their many provided resources they ensure to make the hardship a little less difficult. I highly recommend you reach out if you or a loved one has unfortunately found themselves in need of any of their services.

This is an amazing organization that provides high quality resources at no cost to the participant. The staff and volunteers are committed and passionate about what they do. The building is beautiful, clean, and full of warmth. I’ll always be thankful for this place.

I am proud and priviledge to volunteer at the Center, an organization entirely devoted to the wellness of people diagnosed with cancer and their caregiver. At this time (when I write this post) of strict measures of isolation due to COVID-19, Debbie and her staff are going the extra mile to make sure every participant is safe and their needs are met. This includes the offering of various sessions on line, as well as follow up calls to every one. Congratulations to all for your dedication !

What a beautiful organization. In a world, where one is so quick to spread negative news - the West Island Cancer Wellness Center radiates positivity. The staff and volunteers are tremendously devoted to the cause and spread so much needed light in what can be a very dark place in a cancer patient's world. The facility is impeccable and the services from massage to exercise, group support and cooking classes, and many more, are phenomenal. Kudos to the WICWC and all you do. If this organization was around when my mother, a survivor, was battling breast cancer - I would have been so proud to have her join this fabulous community.

I am a new Volunteer at the Wellness Center, I give it a 5 star for many reasons, the staff, the volunteers, the postive vibves that you get from the partipants and there families. The center's goal first and foremost is to serve the community by offering the highest services to everyone who attends the center.
