If I could give a zero I would! From the other reviews I've read, perhaps there are some good people on the team. We however, had a terrible experience. Snobby, rude, disrespectful and if you know nothing of legal matters like myself, they "dissed" me. It was awful. I will never deal with that office again. Dealing with an estate is already difficult enough. I fired them and am completing the estate issue elsewhere. They did however, hire new front desk personnel who seems to be friendly.

Wish I would have read reviews before I hired this firm. Used for a house sale and property purchase. House sale went through fast and we were happy until 2 months later found out they missed paying one of the realtors when we were contacted that we had an outstanding payment. When I made them aware of the situation and asked if there would be any adjustment on the bill I had paid (since the service was not 100% completed) they just said it was an honest mistake and no. For that amount of money and the fact that I should not have had to worry about them doing their job correctly, you would think they would care a little more - but I guess they got paid so. Then with our land purchase it was ridiculous how long it took for us to get our papers and after being told it would be ready on a certain day, I had to check in multiple times and found responses to be rude and dismissive (not the assistant, she was lovely)

All in all, do not recommend as they does not stand behind the services that are supposed to be provided.

The receptionist for Stephen Legault (Cynthia) is the most rude unprofessional woman I've ever spoken to in my entire life. Not only did she interrupt me every chance she got, she was condescending and didn't answer a single question. Honestly I regret calling. Unbelievable. I don't understand why legal assistance feel the need to be condescending and interrupt potential future clients. I will never give them a dime of my money. Avoid these people at all costs.

Edit: after calling a different legal firm, I was given the appropriate answers that I needed without condescension or being interrupted. I must add that everything I was told by Cynthia was incorrect.

40 some years ago Terry gave very great friendly service at his father's grocery store in Blumenort, some things haven't changed a bit thanks for your help again Terry and everyone at Loewen Henderson Banman and Legault.

Hired Mr. Legault for criminal case. He did absolutely nothing for me, told me to take the crowns 2wk sentence as I would most certainly lose. I hired a competent experienced lawyer(Saul Simmonds). Case won.

Worst lawyers ever ! Paid over $5000 and got nothing! .... did not defend me at all.... rather go to a Winnipeg Law firm as these lawyers will take your money and sit back and do nothing, very crooked ! If you want some one to try to intimidate you then choose Mr.Legault! Worst law firm ever , refuse to give your documents back without charging you again when you decide to dismiss your lawyer !

I won’t get in to all the details but did not help us at all. Waist of time and money for nothing. Very arrogant person. Hard to believe there are Lawyers out there that are terribly human beings and don’t care at all.
