I immediately told the installer there was an issue with delamination. He told me it was normal and I shouldnt worry. I decided to keep the peace and leave it alone. Then the issues with workmanship came up. I lost count of how many times they came back before realizing they installed the wrong springs. So many issues were pointed out by the tech that the earlier techs screwed up. One time I called and told them the cable was totally slack. An obvious warranty concern. Federico argued with me. Told me its probably not warranty. They forgot to install the keystock in the jackshaft for the cable drums, so the drum came loose. At this time I pointed out that the doors were delaminating again Federico argued with me and told me that I told the wrong person about it the first day and that he couldnt help me. He told me it wasnt warranty. I explained that 5 panels were delaminating and I sent photos of one of the panel for an example. After much grief Federico stated that he would submit the claim to Garaga. Several times I reached out and was ignored when I followed up. He said he would call and check on the status. Never called me back. I finally got his attention and he said he would 'help me out' and replace the panels then deal with Garaga himself. Well it was still a fight to get that scheduled. His words on the phone were 'we are going to change all the panels'. I shut down my shop for the day to allow for it to happen. He cancels the day before and I have to ask and find out he wasnt going to notify me. I lost a days revenue. He assures me next week will happen. The tech shows up with ONE panel. Federico again he argues with me. He already forgot about the 5 panels and says I only sent one photo of the delamination and it was only ever one panel that there was a concern for. They took a second panel and absolutely hacked it to fit the door so that at least 2 panels were replaced. It looks awful. I called Garaga with the serial number to put the claim through for the other 3 panels and found out and Federico had never put a claim through. The claim was approved and panels shipped within THREE hours. I call Federico and he says that he will install them. I explain they are delivered and pick up is in Whitby. He tells me I did everything wrong and is super unprofessional and tells me I have to play by his rules. Well his rules are to ignore the customer, give empty promises, and lie to them, so I did what I had to do. He goes on and on about how hard it is to send someone to pick them up. He argues and argues and finally I tell him I had no idea and I obviously won't do it again. Then he again ignored my texts and did not follow up with me the next day as promised. I have never dealt with such a blatant and obvious liar before. Someone who reeks of not wanting to take responsibility for his failures or even take care of his responsibilities to begin with. He would have never followed up with me and replaced the 2 panels had I not persisted. When I told him Garaga never was called with a claim for my doors he lied to my face and told me he did it. After 3 days of trying to get a hold of him he finally gave me a date to install them. They were supposed to come over a week ago to do the repair and have heard nothing from them. They never showed up. I contacted the place storing the panels and they told me they were never contacted to arrange pick up. As long as Federico works here, I will be sending my friends and customers elsewhere. The owner of this company needs to be aware of what is going on and I dont know any other way to reach them other than a google review. If this gets rectified I will gladly change my tune and take down the review. But from one business owner to another, I would want to know about this guy if he worked in my company, and I would want to act immediately. So here is your professional courtesy. I'm sorry, I have no idea how to reach you otherwise. I tried calling service and they refused to put me through.
