Sabrina was very thorough with her information and the tour on site. She provided plenty of time for questions or clarification. Receptionist and staff we encountered were friendly and made us feel welcome. Plenty of information to take home and consider along with an open invitation to attend upcoming events. This place is lipstick on a pig!!! Looks great but lacks care. They run out of food, food quality is poor Huge staff turnover. GM cant keep management. Health and wellness Mgr turns every 3 months. Staff are overworked and underpaid.

My mother has been a resident in memory care at Season's Welland for just over 6 months now. She had been in another memory care facility prior to this which we were not happy with. After having such a bad experience elsewhere I have been diligent in making sure mom is being taken care of well.

Guess what? The staff here is absolutely top notch! The thing I'm happiest with is the communication between family and the MC Manager Tara and her staff. From emails that provide me with glimpses of mom's week or phone calls I make with questions that need a speedy answer, these people are doing a great job of keeping me informed about my loved one. I know my mother is in good hands.

From the first tour almost a year before her move in to present day, I would highly recommend Season's Welland (and have numerous times). On top of that we are saving almost $2000 a month compared to the other place. Thank you Larry, Dale and everyone there - you do make a difference! Thank you to everyone who works directly with mom providing her with what she needs and peace of mind for our family.

My mother in law is a fairly new resident in their Memory Care Clinic (Welland). She suffers from advanced Alzheimer's, specifically severe short term memory loss. We're very happy with the care she's being provided. The staff are kind and considerate, thoughtful and respectful. They are very professional and very hands on with her, and stay in constant communication with us (because it's what we want...). When we're not visiting in person (daily), we can call and speak to a Memory Care staff member or to their Manager Tara, anytime, 24/7. My mother in law resides in a private one-bedroom suite, where she feels like we simply 'downsized' from her own home, thereby making her transition a bit easier. Although it's a traditional 'lockdown' unit, the environment outside my mother in law's suite is bright, and beautifully designed. Stepping out into the hallway is simply an extension to her beautiful room. The meals are wonderful and the residents are often involved in helping bake goodies in their central kitchen. My mother in law, who is social but a bit shy, typically chooses to not participate in activities. However, at Seasons she is now involved in every recreational activity they offer. There's lots. Tara, the coordinating manager, and an accredited Recreational Therapist, keeps the residents engaged. Not a day passes where they don't have something planned.

It must also be said how very helpful the administrative staff were to us when we began our search for somewhere we could place my mother in law; where we could feel confident about her care. We would never have moved forward with my mother in law's placement at Seasons if not for the Leasing Manager Dale Boyd. Dale spent a lot of time answering questions, meeting with our family members, touring, and making sure we had all the information we needed in order to make an informed decision about my mother in law's placement. It took months. He made time for us, as we often popped in impromptu. As a family, we struggled with having to make this decision. He was patient and understanding. Our decision to take this step with Season's Welland, was 100% as a direct result of Dale. Once there, we had an opportunity to get to know and work with all the other extraordinary staff, including Lawrence, Emily, Amanda and Lianne, and Tara, as well as Cynthia the food services manager, and maintenance manager Dave and his assistant Cam. The medical and portering staff, and a host of others, including concierge staff, who go over and above the call of service. They have an important role given they are the first point of contact. They are an extraordinary team who work tirelessly to ensure everyone feels welcome and well cared for.

So great has our experience been with my mother-in-law that we recently transitioned my 95 year old father to Seasons Welland- Independent Living. He toured with Dale, and decided on a beautiful Studio apartment, perfectly designed for a senior with mobility issues like my dad. We then met and worked with Emily, the Care Coordinator, who designed a care support enhancement package for us; perfectly suited for my father's needs. It's only been a few weeks but he is very happy with his new little place. He feels supported, and welcomed by staff and residents alike. Most of all, he feels heard and relevant... and feels safe in his new environment.

Many thanks to Dale Boyd leasing manager at Seasons Welland. His commitment to seniors and their well being is front and center. Dale helped us navigate retirement living for our loved ones via tours, a luncheon, phone calls and emails. He is patient, understanding, compassionate and always ready and willing to answer questions and put one's mind at ease. Our tours were met with a friendly smile and a good sense of humour which was an added bonus. The front desk staff, food services personnel and residents all made us feel very welcome during our tours. Such a warm feeling. We are grateful and thankful for our connection. All the best.
