My husband and I recently moved from out of province and came to the sackville location to switch out our drivers licenses and plates. The service was excellent. A polite young lady greeted us at the door and made sure we had all the correct documentation. The wait time was extremely reasonable, and the lady at the counter was very kind, helpful and patient with us during our time there. Huge appreciation for making something that would be super stressful in our previous province a very pleasant experience. We absolutely will be back to this location for any futures service needs!

Jillian was patient, answered all my questions, and guided me through each step with a smile. It's rare to receive such outstanding customer service, especially in a busy office. One of the best and productive interactions i ever had till date in a govt office. Thank you Vaishnavi for making it so easy.. I switched my license to NS , registered a second hand car and got the plates in 20 mins..am new to NS and had no clue what the process is. Kudos to you!!?

I would love to do two separate reviews.
5 stars for staff friendliness and 5 for being able to book appointments.
With the hours I work being able to nip in at lunch and take care of stuff is awesome.

The amount of trips it takes to get stuff done is ridiculous though. The inconsistent responses between staff is bizzare.
I had purchased two trailers from a business. One they forgot to sign both sides of the registration. So got that taken care of came back and they said my invoice was not sufficient for this. It's the same one I used to register the first trailer from this business. So did clerk #1 make a mistake or did clerk #2? So we debate that for a while. Then they tell me because I bought it from a dealer that operates in NS and NB they would need to title it in NS (was NB paperwork). Talked to multiple people, wasn't happening. Saw another clerk later with no changes to the paperwork I had and had no issues.
It's not always a headache, but for every 5 vehicles I register 3 are an adventure. I just wish things were a bit more consistent.

Edit Nov 1: lucked out on this trip and got the same clerk I had previously. Paul. Straightforward transaction and friendly.

Went in for a marriage license. Got called seconds after the kiosk and served by two lovely staff members. One was in training but both were kind and very efficient. In and out in under 10 minutes.

Went in to renew my license on the 25th of last month and was given a temporary license in the meantime and was told that my new license would arrive via mail within 3-5 business days. Called back today to check the status and was told that the license wasn’t even processed until the 30th for no reason and that it will be an additional 7-14 business for my new license to arrive via mail.

Absolutely unacceptable customer service for them to not even process the request until 5 days after the purchase.
