My husband was diagnosed with a neurological condition, similar to ALS which is PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy). This eventually affected his core muscles which left him unable to use the bathroom to void every hour or two. I discovered and purchased the ActivKare Afex products so he was able to urinate into the system. This consisted of an external catheter receptacle and collector bag which I found very easy to empty and disinfect. His PSW’s were very impressed with the product and wondered why more men weren’t using this as it kept him dry without sitting in diapers every day and prevented urinary tract infections. I have a condition (Pure Autonomic Failure) that requires that I remain in bed for about 16 hrs/day, because I experience extreme hypo-static hypotension, that does not regulate. I do not have incontinence, so I do not have a need for a catheter. What a godsend to find this company and it's products. The owner, Karen, is pleasant, personal and knowledgeable. She has helped me in selecting the products that I need and guided me through the process of submitting to my Extended Health provider for insurance coverage. The products have been available (no "Out of Stock") every time that I order and the shipping has been as promised, complete with a Canada Post tracking number. I live on the West Coast of Canada and I know that it takes a few days to drive from Cornwall, ON to BC, so I expect that it may take awhile for my shipment to arrive. Thank you ActivKare and Karen.

I ordered some post hip surgery supplies for my husbands surgery in 6 weeks.
His surgery was bumped up and we only had a few days notice.
Activkare went out of their way contacting purolater and communicated daily with the progress of my shipment. They even went so far as to give me a competitors information to check for a back up plan.

Customer service is top rate. There was an issue with my original order (out of stock). I received an email immediately explaining the
issue. I was immediately refunded my money. They also assisted me with selecting an alternate product. They were very helpful and patient with me. I ended up ordering and comparable product and I was sent the product already setup for me. I was also compensated for the inconvenience.

We searched for an external catheter everywhere and nothing worked for my father until we found the Afex by ActivKare. They (Karen especially) were super-patient and extremely helpful during the whole process and answered every question that came up (even on holidays). The product itself is top-notch quality and easy to use. The Afex is the only external catheter that we tried that didn’t leak and best of all it’s reusable and easily cleanable.

I had an enlarged prostate, and this is not my first rodeo meaning I had surgery on my prostate( 2x )times before, because of Covid-19 I couldn't get surgery I had to wait, I waited for 2yrs.and I had to have a Foley catheter inserted in me it was starting to cause a lot of pain especially when I sit down so I was ready for the surgery after my surgery I was looking for a device to wear instead of adult diapers then I found "Activkare " products and I never looked back! These products allow you the freedom to travel without having leaks that can happen with diapers, no-more having to rush to find a restroom as soon as you get to your destination
