Service at this location was above 5 Stars. I was looking for another vendor for my supplies and even though I didn’t buy my device there, Sharmiga supplied 5 star service. I told Sharmiga my requirements and from there she did the rest. She phoned our carrier to find out exactly what was cover and took care of everything from there. Advacare do direct bill in with some insurance carriers also.
Definitely 5 Star for this location and Sharmiga.

Although I didn't buy my cpap at this location, Amanda was extremely helpful in explaining the process and product to me. She also helped with getting a quote from my insurance provider and forwarded the information to the Advacare in my location. Thank you Amanda, you've demonstrated above and beyond customer service, which is rare to find these days.

My father and I went in for his updated CPAP machine and Sharmiga, the therapist was so helpful. She was so empathetic, kind and patient with my dad and went over all the details and did not rush. Usually, these appointments can be stressful, but she ensured to go above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. High recommended this location!

When I was given a list of 'west end' companies that could assist me with my newly prescribed sleep needs and devices, staff at St. Michael's Hospital advised they had 'heard good things about Advacare' and they were right. It has been a pleasure dealing with them and I highly recommend their services, compassion and expertise.

I'm so happy with the team at Advacare Etobicoke. I was recently diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and the clinic had provided a few different vendors to choose from. I reached out to each of them and from the get go, Teresa was empathetic and so helpful in arranging a Zoom call with Mayu who is not only extremely knowledgeable plus amazing 'Zoom-bedside' manners to boot. This A-team really cares and I'm confident I'll be successful in my therapy with their support. I encourage all new patients to do their research. You won't regret choosing Advacare.

Severe sleep apnea can certainly be an expensive illness unless you have insurance. All ADPs are bundled CPAP packages. So CPAP pricing is regulated, but I don't think the other items bundled in the package are regulated. $50 for a compulsory follow-up call, which is more expensive than a call to a family doctor. Mandatory printed reports are $50, more expensive than blood test reports. But don't complain, all ADPs have expensive stuffs.

It is rare indeed that I give a business a 5 star rating. In this case, I could add more stars. Over the 11 years that I have been using ADVACARE for my sleep device needs, I always feel welcome and feel there is ample care and concern for my well-being. Let's face it - if you don't sleep well, you can't be very well when awake. Luc and his staff are stellar. They not only fit you with the best equipment, they also show care and concern about the quality of your waking hours. They work in concert with my healthcare provider to continually keep me and my CPAP at optimal operating speed. Their followup care counts also in my 5 star raring. I recommend Advacare without reservation.

My father came for a CPAP machine and they convinced him that he needed an accessory, which was completely false and easily disproven by the maker’s own product description.

He was so convinced that he told me how I’d break my own CPAP machine (I ALSO have sleep apnea) by not buying the accessory for myself.

After some explanation, he realized that he’d been taken advantage of. I asked him for the receipt, and I was shocked at the markup applied compared to similar local medical device retailers.

I was very disappointed.

Follow up:

My parents don’t want to engage in discussions and just want to move on from this experience. Pursuant to that, I’ve also softened the language of this review for Advacare’s benefit.
