Nous avons commandé un appui pour la toilette, découvrant que cet appui n’était pas très sécuritaire puisque qu’il offrait une barre au bas pouvant faire tomber la personne. Nous avons donc annulé la commande via leur adresse d’ordre. Nous avons envoyé 5 courriels pour annuler, ne recevant pas d’avis de reception. Finalement, nous avons reçu un courriel nous informant que le coli avait étzé envoyé. La cerise sur le sunday, nous recevons un courriel de la même adresse de tous les courriels que nous avons envoyés, signifiant qu’ils n’ont reçu aucun courriel.
Conclusion: Zéro pour le service après vente. Nous avons retourné l’objet par courrier. Ils nous offre un crédit à une entreprise auquel le nous ne voulons plus faire affaire.

I recently ordered a product of a sensitive and personal nature. When the order arrived, I received a box of table saw parts from their sister company. My shipping label was in the box, but no packing slip. I called the company and explained what I received, and before I could give my name or order number, they addressed me by name and asked me to confirm that is who I am. Then they asked me if I received a packing slip.

So obviously not only did my sensitive and personal items get shipped to someone expecting table saw parts, but so did my packing slip with my name, address, and order number.

The person I spoke to told me to expect an email this morning with a return shipping label for the parts, and details about a replacement order. It is now the end of the business day and I have received no such email. I left a message at their order desk as they are now closed.

After reading several reviews here, I am not impressed with their company at all. If I do not receive prompt and cooperative communication from them starting first thing tomorrow morning I will be filing immediately a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

My wife and I are both 84 years of age. My wife has an incurable spine illness and can only get around the house with a walker. She needs 24 hours per day supervision. She has fallen twice already and needs help with all daily activities. An elevated toilet seat was installed but, this didn't help. We have installed the security/safety unit we received from Age Comfort and it's practical and worthwhile. Prior to installing, I had to help her sit and rise, as well as help with her clothing. By the second day of installation, she was able to safely use the washroom with minimal assistance. I also love the seat. I'm on a waiting list for hip surgery and, the safety seat is great. Thank you, AgeComfort for satisfying our needs at a very reasonable price.

An okay company to deal with as long as you do not have to return your order. I purchased an alternating pressure and low air loss mattress for my mother-in-law. It did not fit her bed properly so I returned it. It took over a week to get the required RMA number to return it and I had to return it to the manufacturer and not Age Comfort. To top it off, I lost a 25% restocking fee that resulted in around a $250 loss. It also took almost a month to get the refund. I don't know what "restocking" Age Comfort had to do as the mattress was sent by the manufacturer and I had to return it to the manufacturer. Age Comfort just seems to be a middle broker that made $250 no matter what. They are also not the greatest to contact by phone and very slow with email responses. So... if dealing with them make sure you will be happy with your order beforehand.

Unfortunately my order didn't work out because I needed a power wheelchair immediately but the order was going to take 2 or 3 weeks to arrive. I was able to cancel the order no problem and will be getting a refund in 5 to 7 business days. I have ordered items from AC in the past and was happy with everything.
