Extremely happy with my experience adopting my new buddy Moose. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and kind. They allowed me to meet him and prepared me for dog ownership and I can tell they took amazing care of him while he was at the shelter. I would HIGHLY recommend adopting from here. Thank you for my new best friend!

The staff here just wants your money. After my 2 dog's escaped my yard someone found them and called the dog warden. The shelter told me that the town I reside in said that it was going to be over 1400 for me to get them back. Town told me the shelter gets the money and it is in the contract. I couldn't afford that so the shelter saying that they only get money for the rabie shots at 20 dollars a piece. The manager told me about giving them the rights to the dog's and they will adopt them back to me for 300. Then it switched up to the dogs I have all need their vaccines then when I said I have someone that will take my dog's so I won't have any there for I can adopt them back they changed the story and saying the director who later I find out is not the director said because I want to buy them back it was going to be 1,010 after the town I reside said they had to pay the shelter the 1400 because I surrendered them. They literally lied to me about who the money was originally for then told me to surrender them so I can adopt them for a lot lower price and then switch the price way up again. I just want my fur babies back home and they are making this so I will lose them. This is not a shelter it's a scam. The staff is the worst

Went there today with my daughter to donate some toys and food to the shelter. My daughter, who is 8 years old, wanted to use her own money she earned selling Lemonade to purchase a few things and take it to the shelter herself. We did that today, and what disappointment that was!!! The lady receptionist was so ignorant and rude, I felt bad for exposing my daughter to such behavior. She never thanked us, never acknowledged my daughter for wanting to help, just pointed to the table and said to leave stuff there. Wow!!! I wish I was able to teach my daughter how good it feels to donate and help others. Will never go there again that's for sure.

We went to the shelter originally to meet a different dog but after some confusion regarding what dogs are safe for what scenarios, we were able to meet a beautiful 7 yr old Husky named Balto.
While he can be a handful and is still working on his abandonment issues, he has really taken to our family.
I want to shout-out the team caring for him during his time in the shelter. He is such a a sweet and funny boy. We couldn't imagine our family without him.
Thank you for all you do!

They keep dogs from their owners and then adopt them out so they never go back to their homes. The manager never returns phone calls they live the dogs in tiny cages not like what you see in the commercials. The office and floors the staff walks on look new. But saw nothing for the animals to lay on or play with nothing. They are not humane they are pure evil

Unfortunately I had to have my sweet girl kitty cremated due to cancer. The older female clerk wasn't too caring nor nice but the woman who took my cat was kind and compassionate. I will say it stinks to high hell in the hallway. As soon as I opened the door it hit me and I felt nauseous instantly. I wish I could post more stars but a bit of cleaning would be helpful.

Horrible adopting system my dog is scare of everything until she get used to others and because she was scared when she met holly they said it wasn’t a good match which i think is ridiculous my baby is turning 2 on the 22 and holly is only 2 month . I don’t think that was a bad meet it takes time. Also they had a terrible attitude and the two ladies in the front look like they hate being there , like life stinks . Poor litter babies in there i dont think this ladies like animals at all
