Nice campground. Campsites are not too close to each other. The building that houses the toilets, showers and laundry looks a bit ordinary on the outside but is brand new on the inside. Very clean too!

There was only one other tent here among the many trailers, but I would have been glad for a tent-specific rating so this is it.

The tent site itself was clean and spacious enough, setting up on dirt and rocks. We use inflatable mattresses so, while a little disappointing and a distinctly less green feeling, it worked. The only tenting sites were on the interior loop, backing up to trailer sites. The trailer right behind us had air-conditioning running through the night—not the quiet we were going for. Several times, we were overwhelmed by a strong and terrible smell; I suppose they had to flush their toilet.

The washrooms have been entirely overdone in the last year and are bright and clean. The area has laundry machines, 2 very comfortable couches, table and chairs, books and games to enjoy, and a ping-pong table.

The staff are very friendly and exceptionally kind and helpful. As others have said, they really do seem to enjoy living there and looking out for those camping.

If you camp with a trailer and are in the area, for extended temporary work or traveling to or from Wood Bison National Park or Yellowknife, this would be a lovely spot. If you camp in a tent, bring a power converter and pay the extra $10-15 to get a site that backs onto quiet, green space—the whole point of camping.

A very convenient and pleasant stay on our way to Yellowknife. The owners were very welcoming, pleasant and accommodating. No extra fees to reserve nor prepayment required. The washroom/ laundry facility was very clean and very nice and included a large lounge area with library and ping pong table.
Definitely would recommend this campground. Will be staying again on our way south.

Thank you for the squeaky clean facilities, quiet nights, and excellent wifi all the way out at our tenting site. Also - you went above and beyond helping us out with a flat tire at 8 in the morning so we could limp into town and get it fixed. This place is better than most motels in High Level - already looking forward to our next stay!

We stayed here randomly on a road trip and it was the nicest place!! Clean and friendly, clean showers, bathroom and laundry. Host was so nice and welcoming and there’s a little kitty that roams around!! No lake or water around but if you are passing through and need a place to stay I definitely recommend 😊

Stayed 1 night here. The manager was friendly and helpful, especially after our truck broke down. The Campground was quiet and clean while we were there, and the nice area for a fire meant we could see northern lights and fireflies!
