Couldn't find Telfa bandage pads at any pharmacy and they were specifically requested for bandaging a wound post-surgery. Not only did this store carry them, but in different sizes. Not only that, but they were only 29 cents each for the 2"x3" where a previous pharmacist tried to sell me something else for double the price. We wanted these for the non-adherent characteristics so they don't damage the wound when removing. Add on the inexpensive cloth tape and my bill was one third what I would have paid at other places for something not the same. Very friendly and knowledgeable service to top it off!

I needed a wrist brace that was suitable for hockey and golf... Some movement but good support. I was greeted well and the staff were very helpful allowing me to try several types and sizes until I found the one that best suited my needs... Not just my arm and wrist dimensions.

Great service. My boyfriend was injured back in December and would require a wheelchair for some time. He was given short notice from the hospital regarding his discharge and the folks from August were able to deliver the chair and other supplies to his apartment the same day he called. We had to go back to make an adjustment to the chair’s seat and they were able to offer a solution as well.

I needed compression stockings and I found it really hard to find a place that didn't need an appointment with very inconvenient times such as co-op) Archie made the process extremely easy today and I was I and out in 10 minutes. Highly recommend!

Visiting Calgary for a family funeral, and staying in a hotel with a standard height/low toilet, I found the pain and undue stress on my knee caps almost unbearable. Hence I searched on line for a suitable raised toilet seat, or grab-bar frame tpe-of-aid. In this regard I reviewed websites of many local Mobiity Aid Suppliers. I contacted some of these related retail outlets. Without doubt August Home Medical Supplies (AHMS) was superior to all! Staff contact Terry (sp?) was a good listener and problem solver. Without doubt he knew AHMS stock very well, and he made some "right on" comments and recommendations. I chose two items, which my partner picked up and paid for. As had been agreed upon with Terry, then my partner promptly brought them to the hotel for me to try fitting in place, and then to choose the better one -for my needs and for this hotel bathroom. Then my partner immediately returned the AHMS one not chosen, still in brand new condition. He was given a full refund for thisreturned item.. Now, we very highly commend August Home Medical Supplies, and would lie to give them 5+ stars. As well I have already recommended this company to a doctor, and to a caregiver of seniors THANK YOU August Home Meical Supplies for our supurb and caring customer service. Might even be back for another purchase before leaving calgry.

We have spent over $1000 for my 94y/o father's supplies. Last month we rented a wheelchair as he was very limited in the use of his walker. I was told at the time of rental that rental would be applied to purchase. Today I went to renew rental for another month while I consult with siblings . At this time, I again asked if rental would be applied to purchase at end of month. She told me NO and when I question her, she said she "changed her mind".
Do not use this place. Kenron, Cal-Med or Coop are friendly and go out of way to please. Not this place. Very unsatisfied.
