I really want to take the time to give Aurora Eye Care in Grande Prairie an extremely positive review! Every staff member is amazing and everyone works as a team to ensure the customers are taken care of and satisfied! Today I had an emergency situation and required my eyeglasses to be fixed. Linda and Anna were able to get this taken care of in a very timely manner and they went above and beyond to help with my situation. I would highly recommend this business for all eye exams and they also have a great selection of frames to make anyone look their best. If you are unsure of what suites you they have professional and trained staff who will assist you in selecting the right pair. They are so patient and accommodating to whatever your specific needs might be. I highly recommend for anyone to give them a shot. I'm pretty sure you will not regret it!!!! Good job to all Aurora employees!!

I have only had good experiences here. Linda has helped me pick two sets of glasses now with nothing but patience and kindness as I tried one then the other then back again, countless times. Offering honest opinions when asked and presenting choices you may not have concidered. The exam staff have always been very professional and excellent with our kids, making everyone comfortable.

The customer service received by Felicia for my daughter’s glasses adjustment was exceptional! She was patient with my daughter, very friendly and professional! Felicia also managed to get my daughter’s nose pieces to sit properly positioned on her nose, and was the first to do so since getting them.

Love all of the staff, they are all kind. It's and easy going relaxing place, let's just say I never feel judged or uncomfortable when I'm there. The whole staff is exceptional and was lovely to meet Felicia, she made things so quick and easy, had a great time with her ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great experience! Dr. Lauren was thorough, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable. The multiple stages of the exam were a bit unexpected but beneficial. Felicia is young with a fun, honest approach—she made the process easy and enjoyable. The front desk staff was also friendly and welcoming. Overall, a great visit!

I will not be recommending Aurora Eye Care to anyone. Spend your money or take your benefits/insurance to any other company.

We are in Alberta visiting my husband while he's working here. I thought, let's get some appointments checked off while my husband is at work. Our health cards are from another Province but our benefits covered our appointments. My two children and I had eye appointments and the same day my three year old's eye started to swell. The next morning she could not open her eye. I took her to a walk in medical clinic but there were about 25 people in line in front of us and it wasn't even open yet! So, I decided to take her back to the source and go back to the eye doctor to see if they could help/explain. They would not see my three year old without another $78 because we are not from Alberta! They just got $108 from our appointment 17 hours beforehand! It isn't that we can't afford the $78. It is the principal of the matter. We came back to let them know about the eye, to ensure my child is OK, but also to ensure that they are aware of what happened and hopefully prevent this from happening to anyone else. They DID NOT sanitize the equipment in between the three of us. I don't care that we are family. That is not best practice. Was the equipment sanitized before us?! It cannot just be a coincidence that my three year old can't open her eye today. You want $78 to look at my child when there is a high probability that whatever is wrong with her eye happened at YOUR business? No. You should be going out of your way to ensure your patient is ok. Refusing to look at a child without the $78 is DISGUSTING. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Our appointments were fine. The service during the appointments was fine. But the fact that they are potentially the reason for the swollen shut eye, and refused to see their patient without more money is bad customer service, bad business, and terrible for customer retention. Go anywhere else to care for your eyes, because the management here DOES NOT care about your eyes, they just want your money.
