Also offers many pre-prepared meal options to cook at home or takeout precooked meals from its onsite BBQ patio restaurant. Cool! Disappointing selection of fresh locally grown produce or baked goods.

On our way from Chicago to Toronto we found ourselves in need of a bathroom (we drink a lot of water). Left the highway to find a gas station, which was a little far.

Shazam!! BJ’s right next door. Skipped the gas station and decided to grab a bite, and use the bathroom.

What a great stop!! The market is fabulous, and worth exploring when one is a carnivore like me (I'm from Argentina naught said).

We split a brisket sandwich, coleslaw, and spinach-feta cheese-filled pasties.
The brisket was very tender and deliciously fatty. The pasties are flaky, and crunchy, with a great balance of filling, coleslaw fresh and refreshing. Had left offers for dinner.

Since we were staying in an Airbnb I bought cooked food to go. Meatballs, cabbage rolls, Sheppard's pie, and Caesar salad.
It was delicious and enough for lunch and dinner the next day.

I wanted to buy a pie, they looked scrumptious, bit that was way too much for two people so I bought a few cookies.

Highly recommend this place. Lovely atmosphere, live music, and friendly helpful people.

I have gotten ready-made foods there many times. Love the Mac & cheese , rice, chicken wings, pulled pork & brisket. Their salads are always fresh and tasty.
The selection of pies, tarts etc. is great as well.

We ordered catering for our backyard wedding and it was exceptional! Smoked brisket & pulled pork was a HUGE hit. It exceeded our expectations. Definitely recommend for anyone in need of catering for any event and we will be back! Thanks so much!!

BJ Country Market needs to be more transparent with their website prices. Their website pricing is very deceiving. For example, Beef dry-aged tomahawk rib steak states $85 for 32oz and $105 for 40oz. But beware - way down at very bottom of page it says “ price listed is a deposit only”. I only happened to see this after by chance. Nowhere on page does it state price per pound so you think the entire tomahawk is $85 or $105 depending on size. My husband and I drove over an hour thinking we would buy a nice decently priced tomahawk based on website price only to find out they charge $85 per pound! One tomahawk was $300. I’m sorry but no tomahawk is worth that. If ordering online be cautious and if traveling a distance like we did make sure you are aware of the actual price. Another observation- they don’t list ingredients on any of their sausages, hotdogs etc.

It was FANTASTIC experience! Real music, real fire-cook burger, and cool beer!!! Taste is awesome, but it's a little pricey. Staff are very friendly, but if you're going to rush-hour, you need patience. (Because it was cooked on the real grill)

Wow! What an amazing find! This beautiful little bisto/country store is absolutely amazing. We stopped for breakfast and had the best eggs and bacon we've had in years! Coffee is also lovely. Honestly I can't praise B Js Country Market enough.
Polite, lovely service and the store has an amazing assortment of goodies. A must for your next pit stop... Go and spend some $$ and support the beautiful little community of Delaware.
