J’habite en France où j’ai été opérée d’une hernie discale en août 2023. Malgré ça, je souffrais toujours. Pendant mon séjour au Canada, j’ai donc consulté le Dr Ron qui m’a proposé 20 séances de décompression spinale.
À l’issue de la 1ère séance, la douleur avait beaucoup diminué. J’ai donc fait les autres séances mais sans amélioration…

Je recommande donc la méthode qui a été efficace pour moi mais je ne suis pas sûre que toutes ces séances aient été nécessaires…

D’autre part, je suis retournée saluer le Dr Ron un an plus tard. Il m’a dit bonjour alors qu’il était avec des clients mais ne m’a même pas accordée quelques minutes pour parler. Par contre on m’a bien donné un papier avec toutes les rubriques à développer pour donner un avis sur le net.

J’ai eu souvent l’impression qu’un examen plus approfondi aurait été nécessaire pour ajuster le traitement. Je ne me suis pas sentie suffisamment accompagnée médicalement.

Hello. I’m a 51-year-old active mom of three, a three time breast cancer survivor, who has suffered a previous back injury to my L4/L5 vertebrae, resulting in a disc herniation which caused me to need the discectomy surgery to repair it in 2018. I was doing fairly well after my surgery and back to all of my physical activities, including lifting weights at the gym.

In 2022 I noticed that the pain was starting to come back, and was alternating between my left and my right sides. I was diagnosed by MRI with a disc herniation of the same vertebrae area in June 2022. The pain and the herniation had gotten progressively worse, and for the last year I have been suffering consistent debilitating pain. An MRI on September 11, 2024 showed that my L4/L5 vertebrae was bulging (and even at the state of extrusion on the right) on both the left and right sides.

I tried doing all conventional methods of physiotherapy such as different types of spinal decompression, laser, electronic muscle stimulation, ultrasound, acupuncture, water therapies, chiropractic care, and other exercises and stretches. Nothing helped to relieve the pain,not even medication for nerve pain, muscle relaxants, anti-inflammatories, nor various type types of other rubs and pain medication. The doctors didn’t even know how to help me because the bigger disc herniation was on my right hand side, but the most significant pain was coming from my left side. So, unless the doctors saw a significant amount of herniation, they were not going to operate on me. I was suffering and nobody could help.

The pain rendered me incapacitated, and left me unable to live a joyful life with my friends and family. I cried daily and could barely walk. I use either a cane or crutches to assist me. I was not able to enjoy my children, husband, friends, and other family members. Sitting up was painful, lying down was painful, standing up was painful, I was borderline depressed, and would literally do anything to make the pain go away. I had to limit the amount of hours I worked, and cancelled many planned trips.

One night after a long crying session, I decided to get online and see where I could go in America to get this problem taken care of. Seems like nothing here in Canada was working and the doctors did not or could not operate on me. This was when I found Back Clinics Of Canada. I reached out and within one day, the office manager, Narina, had reached back out to me. The first thing I remember is how compassionate she was. We got into talking about how I was feeling and how hard this must be for me. She booked me in for a consultation and two days later I hobbled into the clinic on my crutches. I had some reservations about the cost as it is not covered by OHIP, but every morning that I woke up in pain, I realized that no money in the world was worth my sanity and the loss of my ability to have a decent quality of life. I said “yes” to the sessions, and got started just before Christmas 2025.

Since my care, I have improved at least 85% and I am not on any medications, whatsoever. I walk with a pep in my step. I now put myself together and feel beautiful because I feel better inside and out. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, when before the Back Clinics Of Canada, I had no hope.

Everyone in the clinic from the front office, staff (Narina and Cinthia), to the technicians (Anthony and Mercedes), to the one and only Dr. Ron, have been nothing short of fabulous, loving, kind, and compassionate. I’m going to miss being there as they treated me like I was the only patient under their care. However, I’m happy to be done my treatment plan. Dr. Ron’s approach to the spinal decompression, and the K4 laser is unlike any practice I have come across in my history with back problems. Quite simply… It works!!! I would highly recommend anyone suffering with spinal concerns to make that call and to invest in your mind, body and spirit.

This is my second review after I progressed to maintenance stage.

I completed my first acute treatment package in Dec. 2024 and then switched to the maintenance stage. My back so far holds up very well. I am further convinced that Dr. Ron's methodology and system do work at least on me.

Do not make me wrong. I have had the best chiro in the past among counterless treatments and visits to different chiros. But Dr. Ron's system is just different. I think use of the latest technology coupled with his knowledge has given him a unique way to treat his patients.
